The light guide plate has a first surface facing the reflective layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the first diffusion layer is disposed on the second surface. At least one refractive layer is disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface, wherein a refractive index of the refractive layer is between 1.15 and 1.45. The display panel is disposed on one side of the set of optical films far away from the light guide plate.

The diffusers comprising 2 polymers in various ratios along with photo-responsive additives, which provide a long lasting and superior product over conventional polycarbonate-based diffusers. The diffusers of the present invention also result in economic advantages in terms of costs and manufacturing.

The present application provides a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a first backlight assembly and a second backlight assembly. The second backlight assembly is provided with a backlight hole, and at least a portion of the first backlight assembly is accommodated in the backlight hole. The first backlight assembly includes a first light source and a light guide element. The light guide element is used to guide a light beam from the first light source, which enters the light guide element, out of the backlight hole, so that the light is evenly distributed in the backlight hole, and a full-screen display design of the display device is realized.

A variety of illumination devices are disclosed that are configured to manipulate light provided by one or more light-emitting elements (LEEs). In general, embodiments of the illumination devices feature one or more optical couplers that redirect illumination from the LEEs to a reflector which then directs the light into a range of angles. In some embodiments, the illumination device includes a second reflector that reflects at least some of the light from the first reflector. In certain embodiments, the illumination device includes a light guide that guides light from the collector to the first reflector. The components of the illumination device can be configured to provide illumination devices that can provide a variety of intensity distributions. Such illumination devices can be configured to provide light for particular lighting applications, including office lighting, task lighting, cabinet lighting, garage lighting, wall wash, stack lighting, and downlighting.
