An optical display device that creates a perception of a sky scene in output light, the device comprising: a light source; a reflector block having a reflective member and a reflective and partially transmissive member; a diffuse light generator; a visual cue creating system associated with the reflector block, and an aperture for the output light, the light source arranged to transmit light to the reflector block for reflection between the reflective member and reflective and partially transmissive member, with light transmitted through the reflective and partially transmissive member to the aperture, the diffuse light generator arranged to generate in the output light a diffuse light component to replicate a skylight from the light transmitted from the light source, the visual cue creating system causes light in the reflector to block a visual cue arranged to provide in the output light a visual cue component that observers associate with depth.

The light-emitting device includes a main body, a light-emitting module, and a press part located on the main body and configured to control on or off of the light-emitting module. The main body is provided with an accommodation space having the light-emitting module arranged therein. The main body includes a light guide, and light emitted by the light-emitting module is emitted outside of the main body through the light guide. The light guide includes a light exit surface and a light entrance surface. The light entrance surface is located on the circumferential inner sidewall of the accommodation space, and the light exit surface is located on the circumferential outer sidewall of the main body, and light emitted by the light-emitting module is emitted outside along a side of the main body.
Light guide plate and transparent illumination system utilizing the same
A transparent illumination system and related light guide plate is provided. The system is configured to facilitate total internal reflection propagation of light through the light guide plate despite low index of refraction differences between the glass material of the light guide layer and the adjacent layer. The system includes a light source, such as a laser diode, and an optical element to fan out light from the light source in the plane of the light guide plate. The light guide plate includes internal light extraction features.
Methods and devices for optoacoustic stimulation
A tapered fiber optoacoustic emitter includes a nanosecond laser configured to emit laser pulses and an optic fiber. The optic fiber includes a tip configured to guide the laser pulses. The tip has a coating including a diffusion layer and a thermal expansion layer, wherein the diffusion layer includes epoxy and zinc oxide nanoparticles configured to diffuse the light while restricting localized heating. The thermal expansion layer includes carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) configured to convert the laser pulses to generate ultrasound. The frequency of the ultrasound is tuned with a thickness of the diffusion layer and a CNT concentration of the expansion layer.

A kit (10) for emitting light on a nail of a user, comprises: a light emitting diode (14) emitting light at a wavelength, a waveguide (26) coupled to the light emitting diode (14), and a fixing element for fixing the waveguide (26) on the nail of the user.
The kit (10) comprises at least one fluorescent coating (30) intended to be applied on the waveguide (26), the waveguide (26) being configured to transmit the light emitted by the light emitting diode (14) to the fluorescent coating (30), the fluorescent coating (30) being excited at the wavelength of the light emitting diode (14).
BACKLIGHT KEYBOARD
A backlight keyboard includes a first keyswitch, a first backlight source, a light guide plate and a first board having first and second holes. The light guide plate is applied to the backlight keyboard and a second backlight keyboard including a second keyswitch, a second backlight source and a second board having third and fourth holes. The second keyswitch on the second backlight keyboard is shifted transversely relative to the first keyswitch on the backlight keyboard to make the first and fourth holes have a first overlapping area. The light guide plate has a first dot structure corresponding to the first and third holes and a second dot structure corresponding to the second and fourth holes except the first overlapping area for guiding light to symbols on the first and second keyswitches. The first dot structure is less than the second dot structure in dot intensity.

The present disclosure discloses a lighting device and a lamp apparatus. The lighting device includes a light source supply assembly and a curved light guide element. The light source supply assembly includes a fixing base and a light source module. The fixing base has two opposite first accommodating areas, and the light source module is disposed in at least one of the two first accommodating areas, two ends of the curved light guide element are inserted into the two first accommodating areas, and one end of the curved light guide element corresponding to the light source module has a light source introduction bump, the light source introduction bump has a light incident surface corresponding to the light source module, the light source module supplies a light source, the light source enters from the light incident surface and propagates along the curved light guide element.
Backlight assembly and touchpad device
A backlight assembly includes a reflection sheet, a light-shielding sheet, two light-emitting elements, and a light guide plate. The reflection sheet is disposed on a circuit board and has two through holes. The light-shielding sheet is disposed on the reflection sheet and has a hollow portion having a closed contour. The light-emitting elements are disposed on the circuit board, respectively accommodated in the through holes, and located in the hollow portion. The light guide plate is embedded in the hollow portion and includes two light guide regions. Each of the light guide regions has a light mixing region and a light outputting region. A corresponding one of the light-emitting elements and the light outputting region are respectively located on opposite sides of the first light mixing region. The light-shielding sheet further has a light blocking portion disposed between the light guide regions.
DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided are a display panel and a display device, relating to the field of display technologies. The display panel includes a display substrate, a diffusion sheet, a transflective film, and a fingerprint identification circuit. Light of a target wavelength emitted by the fingerprint identification circuit may be reflected by an obstacle, and the light of the target wavelength reflected by the obstacle may be irradiated to the fingerprint identification circuit through at least one through hole in the diffusion sheet. The fingerprint identification circuit performs fingerprint identification according to the received light of the target wavelength reflected by the obstacle. Since an orthographic projection of the fingerprint identification circuit onto the display substrate is within a display area of the display substrate, the fingerprint identification circuit can be prevented from occupying a non-display area of the display substrate. Therefore, the non-display area can be small, and thus, the display device has a relatively high screen-to-body ratio.
Optical combiner lens with spacers between lens and lightguide
An optical combiner lens includes a lens and a lightguide with a gap defined between the lens and the lightguide. Spacers are disposed in the gap to maintain the gap at a set height. A method of making the optical combiner lens and a wearable heads-up display including the optical combiner lens are disclosed.
