BACKLIGHT MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A backlight module and an electronic device are provided. The backlight module, having a main region and a peripheral region near the main region, includes a light conversion layer, multiple light conversion patterns located in the peripheral region, and multiple light emitting units emitting a light beam. A first portion and a second portion of the light beam emitted respectively from the main region and the peripheral region both have at least one corresponding position in a CIE 1931 color space. One among the at least one corresponding position of the first portion of the light beam has corresponding coordinates (x1, y1). One among the at least one corresponding position of the second portion of the light beam has corresponding coordinates (x2, y2). The corresponding coordinates (x1, y1) and the corresponding coordinates (x2, y2) satisfy the following relation: 0≤|x1−x2|≤0.2.
Keyboard device capable of producing multi-zone lighting effect and illumination module thereof
A keyboard device includes a keyboard module and an illumination module. The keyboard module includes plural first keys and at least one second key. The illumination module includes a light guide plate and a circuit board. The light guide plate includes plural first mapping zones and a second mapping zone. The first mapping zones are located under the corresponding first keys. The second mapping zone is located under the second key. Moreover, at least one side-view light-emitting element and at least one top-view light-emitting element are installed on the circuit board. The side-view light-emitting element emits a first light beam. The top-view light-emitting element emits a second light beam. The first light beam is extracted through the corresponding first mapping zone and transferred to the corresponding first key. The second light beam is transferred to the second key.
EDGE-TO-EDGE DISPLAY WITH A SENSOR REGION
A portable information handling system housing integrates a display having an edge-to-edge presentation of visual images at a housing portion with an inactive portion of a display panel along a perimeter of the display having a sensor region that provides access to underlying sensors through the display. A sealant and black matrix disposed in the inactive region limits illumination that escapes from an active region and provides an aesthetically appealing edge-to-edge appearance. Openings in the sealant and black matrix at the sensor locations provides access through the display, such as with index matching resin that passes illumination and a patterned covering of the black matrix.
BACKLIGHT UNIT COMPRISING BENT CURVE-SHAPED BACK PLATE, AND CURVED DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME
A backlight unit of a curved display device to irradiate a curved display panel with light comprises: a light source configured to emit light to the display panel; and a back plate including a plurality of planar sections, each having a predetermined width, arranged in a circumferential direction of the display panel on a concentric circle, the center point of which coincides with the center point of a virtual circle defined by the curved display panel, the planar sections of the back plate being bent relative to each other into a curved form such that the light source is installed to the respective bent sections of the bent curved back plate.
