A cable restraint located in a splice enclosure to restrain a cable includes a tray having a bottom side with an upward facing surface. The cable restraint also includes a restraint bridge removably attached to the tray. The restraint bridge includes a central portion having a surface configured to cooperate with the tab feature to inhibit relative motion between the restraint bridge and the tray in a direction non-perpendicular to an axis of the cable. A restraint clip is removably attached to the restraint bridge and includes a restraint post attached to the body portion configured to secure a strength member of the cable to the restraint clip. The restraint clip further includes a column attached to the body portion configured to inhibit relative motion between the restraint clip and the restraint bridge in the direction non-perpendicular to the axis of the cable.

SEALING ENCLOSURE ARRANGEMENTS FOR OPTICAL FIBER CABLES

Pairs of windows are cut into a distribution cable at various points along the length to couple some of the optical fibers of the distribution cable to drop cables. A wrap-type sealing arrangement can seal a first window of each pair. An enclosure-type sealing arrangement can seal a second window of each pair. The enclosure includes a splice tray and cable storage. Optical adapters and/or a passive splitter also may be disposed within the enclosure.

Fiber optic enclosure with retention clip for securing a perimeter seal

One or more seal retention clips can be used to retain a perimeter seal within a perimeter groove defined by a fiber optic enclosure housing. Certain types of seal retention clips can include portions that embed or bite into the housing of the enclosure, and/or embed or bite into the perimeter seal. In certain examples, the seal retention clip includes tabs or teeth that assist in engaging the housing and the perimeter seal. In certain examples, the seal retention clip defines a channel for receiving the perimeter seal.
