Fiber distribution device
A fiber distribution device includes a swing frame chassis pivotally mounted to a support structure. At least a first optical splitter module is mounted to the swing frame chassis. Pigtails having connectorized ends are carried by the swing frame chassis and have portions that are routed generally vertically on the swing frame chassis. An optical termination field includes fiber optic adapters carried by the swing frame chassis. The fiber optic adapters are configured to receive the connectorized ends of the pigtails.
TERMINAL ENCLOSURE FOR A TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
Telecommunication enclosures are provided. A terminal enclosure for a telecommunications system includes a housing including a base and a cover, the housing defining an internal volume configured to receive one or more telecommunication elements therein, wherein the base includes a first side and a second side opposite the first side, wherein the base and cover are pivotally coupled together at a hinged interface to selectively close the internal volume of the housing, and wherein the hinged interface is reconfigurable between the first and second sides of the base.
Sealed enclosure with output ports
Certain types of aggregation enclosures include cable input ports and downwardly angled cable output ports. A cover is pivotally coupled to the body so that the cover moves between an open position and a closed position. A modular component panel may be disposed within the enclosure. The component panel includes one or more distribution components (e.g., fiber distribution components or power distribution components) configured to connect at least a portion of an incoming cable to at least a portion of an outgoing cable.
LABELLING SYSTEM FOR RACKMOUNT CASE FOR THE ACCOMMODATION OF OPTICAL EQUIPMENT
A rackmount case for the accommodation of optical equipment and labelling tag is disclosed. The case comprises a box like housing comprising an end defining a rectangular opening, labelling tags each comprising a rectangular tag plate and a plurality of hinge elements arranged along an edge of the rectangular tag plate. At least one labelling tag receiving slot is within the housing for receiving one of the labelling tags. The slot comprises an opening adjacent the housing opening and a plurality of hinge elements adjacent the slot opening. The labelling tags are moveable between a first position, wherein the tags are held within the slot, and a second position wherein the tags are outside of the slot and each of the hinge elements is engaged by a respective of the second hinge elements such that the tags are rotatable about an axis in parallel to the slot opening.
FIBER OPTIC ASSEMBLY WITH CONNECTORIZED MIDPLANE
A fiber optic assembly is provided including a base configured to be mounted to a surface, a sidewall extending from the base, a cover configured to engage the sidewall to enclose a portion of the fiber optic assembly, a midplane separating a first portion of the fiber optic assembly from a second portion of the fiber optic assembly, and a hinge disposed between the midplane and the sidewall, which enables the midplane to transition between an open position and a closed position. The midplane includes a plurality of adapters disposed through the midplane from a first side to a second side and a plurality of splice holders disposed on the second side configured to retain at least one fiber optic splice connection between an optical fiber of an input cable and an adapter of the plurality of adapters.
Aerial optical fiber distribution hub
A fiber distribution hub comprises a housing, a first side panel and a second side panel comprising one or more ports, and at least one cover disposed between the first side panel and the second side panel and forming an interior compartment. The interior compartment may include cable managers. A mounting structure aerially strand mounts the fiber distribution hub. Fiber distribution hubs comprising a first fiber distribution hub, a second fiber distribution hub configured to couple to the first fiber distribution hub, and a mounting structure configured to aerially strand mount the fiber distribution hub are also disclosed.
Cable termination assembly with disengagement prevention structures
An optical fiber termination system includes a housing, a cable, and a catch. The housing defines a portion of a passageway and a surface surrounding the passageway. The passageway defines a central axis and the surface defines an interior of the housing. The cable is receivable through the portion of the passageway. The cable includes an optical fiber and defines a longitudinal axis. The catch is receivable in the housing and attachable to and extendable from the cable in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis such that the catch limits movement of the cable in a direction away from the interior of the housing when the catch is received in the housing and the cable is received through the portion of the first passageway.
Access control device for permitting access to a component while selectively blocking access to another type of component
An access control device for permitting access to a coaxial cable component while selectively blocking access to a fiber optical component including an access control panel member configured to be coupled to a coaxial cable component while blocking access to a fiber optical component, the coaxial cable component configured to be coupled to a coaxial cable and an optical fiber configuration base member configured to be coupled to an optical fiber component and to arrange the optical fiber component so as to create a peripheral optical fiber cable path around a portion of the optical fiber component.
Telecommunications enclosure with a separate mountable hinge
The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications enclosures that can be customizable to include a hinge. That is, a separate hinge may be utilized as an add-on feature for telecommunications enclosures. The hinge can be attached to at least two different sides of an enclosure or may not be utilized at all. Such a configuration allows for flexibility of a variety of designs for a telecommunications enclosure. The hinge can be mountable to interfaces of first and second housing pieces of an enclosure. The hinge can have rotational features and/or translational features for pivoting first and second housing pieces of an enclosure between first and second positions.
