MULTI-RING MULTI-FOCAL-LENGTH SINGLE-RING INNER WAVY LENS
Disclosed is a multi-ring multi-focal-length single-ring inner wavy lens. The lens comprises a main lens area and a concentric circular ring area. The concentric circular ring area comprises a plurality of circular rings, the plurality of circular rings are concentrically distributed with the center of the lens as the center, the width of an annulus between every two adjacent circular rings gradually increases from inside to outside, and the circular rings each are of a wavy structure. Each wavy structure comprises peaks and valleys, the diopter of a position where each peak is located is greater than that of the main lens area, and the diopter of a position where each valley is located is smaller than that of the main lens area. The lens disclosed by the present disclosure can provide a plurality of focus regions to enhance the fitness of human eyes.
ESTIMATING A MENTAL STATE BASED ON SENSOR MEASUREMENTS FROM AN ELECTRONIC CONTACT LENS
A system includes an electronic contact lens that obtains sensor measurements from integrated motion sensors or other types of sensors and a processing module that estimates a mental state of an individual based on the sensor measurements. The processing module identifies patterns of eye movements and analyzes how these patterns change over time. Based on anatomical relationships between eye movement and mental state, the processing module estimates characteristics of the individual such as fatigue, intoxication, injury, or a medical condition that have known effects on eye movement patterns. The electronic contact lens system generates an output indicative of the estimated mental state to alert the individual to the detected condition or to initiate an automated action.

Method for measuring a subject's eye movement and scleral contact lens
Method and contact lens (3) for measuring a subject's three dimensional eye movement including torsional movement. A video camera (1) is provided for recording an image of the subject's eye (2). The contact lens (3) is provided for placement over the subject's eye (2). The contact lens (3) comprises one or more markers (3a,3b) that are detectable by the video camera (1) and are positioned at a lateral offset (D) with respect to a central part (3p) of the contact lens (3). The one or more markers (3a,3b) are configured for detecting torsional rotation (R) of the subject's eye (2) around a line of sight axis (C) of the subject's eye (2) by using the video camera (1) to track a position of the one or more markers (3a,3b).
Method and apparatus for constructing a contact lens with optics
Various embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and processes for constructing a contact lens. In one embodiment, a contact lens assembly is provided, comprising: a curved polymer polarizer with an aperture; a lenslet disposed inside the aperture wherein the lenslet enables imaging near objects; and a filter attached to the lenslet. In further embodiments, a method for fabricating a flexible contact lens is provided, comprising: fabricating an element having an extrusion; providing a front concave mold, wherein the front mold has an intrusion to accommodate the extrusion of the optical element; affixing the extrusion of the optical element to the intrusion of the front mold; attaching a back convex mold to the front concave mold, thereby forming a mold cavity; and filling the mold cavity with a pre-polymerized liquid, whereby upon polymerization, the pre-polymerized liquid forms the flexible contact lens and the optical element is partially encapsulated within the lens.

Pulsed laser printing module for contact lens
A pulsed laser printing module for a contact lens, comprises a steel mold, a pulsed laser device and a forming case. The steel mold is configured for transferring pigment. The pulsed laser device is configured for transmitting ultrashort laser pulses having pulse time widths less than 10.sup.−9 seconds. The ultrashort laser pulses etch the surface of the steel mold to remove a coating of the steel mold to form an etched layer. The forming case has a lower member and an upper member. The lower member is a concavity, and an inner surface of the lower member is provided with a lower curved surface. The upper member is provided with a protrusion corresponding to the lower member, and an outer surface of the protrusion is provided with an upper curved surface corresponding to the lower curved surface. The protrusion is capable of being placed in a concavity of the lower member to form a gap between the lower curved surface and the upper curved surface.

Secure communication between a contact lens and an accessory device
Described herein are systems and methods that allow for secure wireless communication between a contact lens system and an accessory device to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to confidential information. In certain embodiments, tampering attempts by potential attackers are thwarted by using a Physically Unclonable Functions (PUF) circuit that is immune to reverse engineering. In addition, sensors monitor a to-be-protected electronic device to detect tampering attempts and physical attacks to ensure the physical integrity of the communication system.
