DISPLAY APPARATUS
A performance of a display apparatus is improved. A display apparatus includes a glass plate, a display panel facing the glass plate, a frame housing a part of the glass plate and a part of the display panel, and a light source module housed in the frame. The glass plate has a side surface. The display panel includes a first substrate facing the glass plate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The light source module is disposed at a position facing the side surface of the glass plate.
METAL PLATE DESIGN FOR ELECTRONIC DISPLAY PANELS
A method of assembling a display panel includes laminating a back plate to a display layer to form an untrimmed display panel, the back plate including a metal layer that includes a trimming path defined by one or more line segments having reduced metal content compared to other portions of the metal layer. The method further includes trimming the untrimmed display panel along the one or more line segments to define one or more edges of the display panel. For one or more locations along each of the one or more edges defined by the line segments, the metal layer is flush with the corresponding edge of the display panel.
Displaying device and image forming apparatus
A display device usable with an image forming apparatus includes a liquid crystal unit including a liquid crystal screen and a frame supporting the liquid crystal screen; a supporting member of metal supporting the liquid crystal unit; and an insulative spacer providing a space between the frame and the supporting member at a position of the frame corresponding to an outside area of a display area of the liquid crystal screen.
Liquid crystal display device
A liquid crystal display device includes: first and second liquid crystal cells; first and second circuit boards connected to the first and second liquid crystal cells through first and second flexible wiring boards, respectively; a frame disposed on an opposite side to the first liquid crystal cell with respect to the second liquid crystal cell; and a holder that holds the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The first circuit board and the second circuit board are disposed on an opposite side to the second liquid crystal cell with respect to the frame. The second circuit board is located closer to the frame than the first circuit board, and the holder sandwiches the first circuit board, and stores the second circuit board between the frame and the holder.
Replaceable cover lens for flexible display
Implementations described herein generally relate to flexible display devices and cover lens assemblies with flexible cover lens. In one or more embodiments, a cover lens assembly is provided and includes a first flexible cover lens, a second flexible cover lens, and a sacrificial adhesion disposed between the first flexible cover lens and the second flexible cover lens. The first flexible cover lens includes a first hard coat layer having a hardness in a range from about 4H to about 9H and a first substrate. The second flexible cover lens includes a second hard coat layer having a hardness in a range from about 2H to about 9H. The first substrate is disposed between the first hard coat layer and the sacrificial adhesion layer.
Object provided with an electro-optic display device
An object includes an electro-optic display device provided with an optically active element, the optical properties thereof can be modified by applying an electric voltage or current between at least one electrode and one corresponding auxiliary electrode, between which the optically active element is disposed. The object further includes a middle part which delimits an opening closed by a crystal including a bottom surface beneath which the electro-optic display device is arranged. The crystal is provided with an opaque frame which is made remotely from the edges of the opening and which covers the contour of the electro-optic display device so as to conceal electrical connection elements. The electro-optic display device defines an active display area which is confined by the opaque frame, such that, when the electro-optic display device is activated and displaying information, a transparent area remains between the opaque frame and the edges of the opening.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A display device includes: a display panel including a first area, a bending area, and a second area arranged along a first direction, the second area being located underneath the first area when the bending area is bent; and a spacer between the first area and the second area, and including: a first part; and a second part protruding from the first part in the first direction. Opposite sides of the second part in a second direction that crosses the first direction define steps that are stepped from the first part, and the steps are located at an outside of the second area in a plan view.
Display monitor integrated down light
An information handling system peripheral display monitor presents visual images at a liquid crystal display panel with illumination distributed across the display panel by a backlight. A light bar of plural light emitting diodes (LEDs) at a bottom side surface of the backlight directs illumination into the backlight from an upper surface and includes plural downlight LEDs on a bottom surface to direct illumination out a downlight opening formed in a housing of the display monitor.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes: a display panel configured to display an image, at least one supporting member on a rear surface of the display panel, the at least one supporting member defining a groove, at least one sound generation device adjacent to the display panel, and a wiring, accommodated into the groove, configured to transfer a signal to the at least one sound generation device.
Display unit, electronic apparatus including the same, and method of manufacturing the electronic apparatus
A display unit includes a display panel, a circuit board bent from a front surface of the display panel toward a rear surface of the display panel, a window disposed on the front surface of the display panel to cover an active area, and a cover panel film disposed on the rear surface of the display panel and disposed between the display panel and the circuit board. The cover panel film includes a first portion overlapping with the display panel, and a second portion extending from the first portion to protrude from the display panel when viewed in a plan view. The second portion is disposed between the circuit board and the window when viewed in a cross-sectional view.
