LIGHT-EMITTING APPARATUS
To provide a light-emitting apparatus capable of suitably controlling light emitted from a light-emitting element. A light-emitting apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: a substrate; a plurality of light-emitting elements which are provided on a side of a first surface of the substrate; and an optical element which is provided on a side of a second surface of the substrate and into which light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements is incident, wherein the optical element includes a liquid crystal layer which is configured to function as a lens.
Electronic apparatus
According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a first liquid crystal panel, a second liquid crystal panel, a camera overlapping the first liquid crystal panel and the second liquid crystal panel and receiving light via the first liquid crystal panel and the second liquid crystal panel. The first liquid crystal panel includes a first liquid crystal layer, a first pixel electrode not overlapping the camera, and a second pixel electrode overlapping the camera. The second liquid crystal panel includes first transparent electrodes overlapping the camera, a second transparent electrode overlapping the first transparent electrodes, and a second liquid crystal layer disposed between the first transparent electrodes and the second transparent electrode.

Liquid crystal display device
A liquid crystal display device includes: first and second liquid crystal cells; first and second circuit boards connected to the first and second liquid crystal cells through first and second flexible wiring boards, respectively; a frame disposed on an opposite side to the first liquid crystal cell with respect to the second liquid crystal cell; and a holder that holds the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The first circuit board and the second circuit board are disposed on an opposite side to the second liquid crystal cell with respect to the frame. The second circuit board is located closer to the frame than the first circuit board, and the holder sandwiches the first circuit board, and stores the second circuit board between the frame and the holder.
ARTICLE FOR DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
An article for a display device having an output surface. The article includes a light valve, a reflective polarizer, and a diffusing layer. The light valve is configured to be disposed on the output surface of the display device. The light valve is operable in a pass mode and a block mode. The reflective polarizer is disposed on the light valve opposite to the display device. The reflective polarizer is configured to substantially transmit light having a first polarization state and substantially reflect light having an orthogonal second polarization state. The diffusing layer is disposed on the reflective polarizer opposite to the light valve.
