The hydrogen-air mixture gas supply unit includes an electrolysis cell including a mixer for mixing hydrogen and air, a polymer electrolyte membrane, a porous electrode formed in the polymer electrolyte membrane as an anode, and an air supply unit that supplies the air to the mixer, the porous electrode being arranged on a flow channel of the air.
IMAGE PROJECTION MEDIUM AND DISPLAY PROJECTION SYSTEM USING SAME
A heads up display system includes a display medium in combination with a dock or support configured to receiving a portable electronic device. The display of the portable electronic device is projected by the display medium, such as in a forward direction. The vehicle dashboard or a surrounding area can have an integral dock, which can be at a top of a gauge visor, bottom of a gauge visor, is displace below vehicle gauges. In each case, an aperture may be provide to provide a path from the display of the electronic device to the display medium. In some embodiments, the heads up display system may include a dedicated display that mirrors the display of the portable electronic device, via a wired or wireless connection.
Method and apparatus for driving static images and video for TIR-based image displays
A total internal reflection-based display may be driven by an apparatus and method to move electrophoretically mobile particles into and out of an evanescent wave region to create static and video images. The apparatus may comprise one or more of a host microprocessor/controller, display controller, TIR display panel, frame buffer memory 1, frame buffer memory 2, host interface, temperature/environmental sensor, timing controller, look up table, power management integrated circuit or display panel interface.
Display
A display is described which comprises a plurality of pixels (12), wherein each pixel (12) comprises a plasmonic resonator (26) including first and second metallic material elements (16, 22) and incorporating a layer (18) of a phase change material, the plasmonic resonator (26) being arranged such that in one material state of the phase change material (18) the electric field coupling between the second metallic material element (22) and the phase change material layer (18) is strong and so strong absorption of selected wavelengths of the incident light occurs, whereas in another state of the phase change material (18) the electric field coupling between the metallic material elements (16, 22) and the phase change material layer (18), and between the first and second metallic material elements (16, 22) is weak and so re-radiation of incident light occurs, the pixel (12) being of high reflectance.
