A method and device are provided for positioning a mounted camera. The device includes a holding element that secures the mounted camera to the device, a wireless linkage at which remote attitude commands representing attitude changes of a remote driver are received, a local controller that interprets the remote attitude commands and generates local attitude commands that move the camera to mimic an orientation of the remote driver, and an attitude sensing element that senses a local attitude of the device. The attitude sensing element includes a gyro, an accelerometer, or a magnetometer, and jitter present in the remote attitude commands is removed and not passed on to the local attitude commands.

The plurality of contacts include an attachment detection contact that is used to detect an attachment of the accessory to the electronic apparatus, and a first clock contact that is used to communicate a first clock signal in communication between the electronic apparatus and the accessory. A potential of the attachment detection contact changes from a predetermined potential to a reference potential different from the predetermined potential after the accessory is attached to the electronic apparatus. The attachment detection contact is disposed next to the first clock contact.

The clip may be shaped to interlock with the structures of the base plate. The clip may engage the base plate in a series of actions. The series of actions may be repeated in reverse to disengage the clip from the base plate. The series of actions for disengaging the clip from the base plate may reduce a likelihood of the clip in being unintentionally decoupled from the base plate, thereby increasing a likelihood that the coupler remains coupled to an article of wear.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. The camera mount system can include, for example, a first optical element and a second optical element. Incoming light from a scope on a weapon, for example, is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the first optical element. The partially transmitted light passes through an eyepiece to a viewer (e.g., a shooter). The partially reflected light is reflected by the second optical element and is recorded by a recording device (e.g., a camera, a video recorder, an image sensor, etc.). The viewer has direct access to the scope optics, a spotting scope, or binoculars, for example, and the camera and the viewer have access to the same view.
