In some embodiments, the welded bracket structure may include a first bracket and a second bracket that are welded to each other. Some embodiments include a weld joint arrangement comprising one or more weld joints for attaching the first bracket to the second bracket. Furthermore, some embodiments include an epoxy arrangement for a multi-camera system that includes the welded bracket structure and multiple camera modules.
Image-capturing unit and component-mounting device
The image-capturing unit includes an imaging section; a holding section configured to hold a subject to be imaged by the imaging section; a light irradiation section configured to select light of one or more light sources out of multiple light sources having different wavelengths, and to irradiate the subject held in the holding section with the light; a storage section configured to store a correspondence among a color of the light emitted for irradiating the subject by the light irradiation section, a material of an irradiation surface irradiated with the light, and a resolution representing the number of pixels per unit length; and an image processing section configured to obtain the resolution from the correspondence, based on the color of the light emitted for irradiating the subject and the material of the irradiation surface of the subject, and to process a subject image by using the resolution.
Lighting and Power Devices and Modules
Electronic device cases and lighting and power devices and modules are described. A case for a portable electronic device may include a rim portion defining an opening for a display of the portable electronic device and one or more light sources adjacent to the rim portion. A lighting device may include one or more light sources for illuminating a user's face during use of a camera of a portable electronic device, and a power member for providing power to the one or more light sources. A lighting module may include a plurality of lighting devices. A power module having a battery may be configured to provide power to a portable electronic device.
High definition stabilized camera system for operating rooms
An image capturing and illumination system comprises a headband, a camera head mounted on the headband and having a camera lens defining a focal point, and a fiber-optic lens assembly for transmitting light therefrom. The fiber-optic lens assembly includes a pair of laterally spaced-apart lenses flanked on opposite sides of the camera lens for directing beams of light toward the focal point.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COLOR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTING METHOD
An electronic device with a camera and a display that can output light to achieve a desired appearance of skin tone is provided. The display outputs light having a color temperature for lighting during picture taking. The electronic device analyzes a color temperature value of a capturing environment and compares that value with a preset value, calculates a difference value according to the comparing, and controls the display to adjust the color temperature of the light accordingly. A color temperature adjusting method of the electronic device is also provided.
METHOD OF DRIVING AN EMITTER ARRAY
Methods and apparatus for driving an emitter array are described. A method includes determining a thermal environment profile for a plurality of emitters of the emitter array, computing a current pulse profile for at least one of the plurality of emitters based on the thermal environment profile, and applying a current pulse with the computed current pulse profile to the at least one of plurality of emitters.
SHAPE RECONSTRUCTION USING ELECTRONIC LIGHT DIFFUSING LAYERS (E-GLASS)
Shape measurement of a specular object even in the presence of multiple intra-object reflections such as those at concave regions of the object. Silhouettes of the object are extracted, by positioning the object between a camera and a background. A visual hull of the object is reconstructed based on the extracted silhouettes, such as by image capture of shadows of the object projected onto a screen, and image capture of reflections by the surface of the object of coded patterns onto the screen. The visual hull is used to distinguish between direct (single) reflections of the coded patterns at the surface of the object and multiple reflections. Only the direct (single) reflections are used to triangulate camera rays and light rays onto the surface of the object, with multiple reflections being excluded. The 3D surface shape may be derived by voxel carving of the visual hull, in which voxels along the light path of direct reflections are eliminated. For surface reconstruction of heterogeneous objects, which exhibit both diffuse and specular reflectivity, variations in the polarization state of polarized light may be used to separate between a diffuse component of reflection and a specular component.
Light uniformity testing
Systems and methods for testing a light emitting device are described. A processing device receives a receiving an image of a beam of light substantially free of parallax distortion and determines one or more uniformity metrics of the beam of light based on the received image.
