The drum cartridge includes a photosensitive drum and a drum memory. The toner cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the drum cartridge. The toner cartridge includes a toner memory. The controller is configured to: determine whether an error occurs in the drum cartridge through a communication with the drum memory; determine whether an error occurs in the toner cartridge through a communication with the toner memory; and when determining that an error occurs in the drum cartridge and determining that an error occurs in the toner cartridge, display on the display an error relating to the drum cartridge in preference to displaying on the display an error relating to the toner cartridge.

An image processing apparatus includes: a controller configured to: control a reader to read an image on a reading medium; determine whether a preview image corresponding to the read image is to be displayed on a display, based on a setting value for a setting item, reading-obtained information, or the setting value and the reading-obtained information, in a case where the controller determines that the preview image is to be displayed, control the display to display the preview image, and execute a particular processing based on obtained read-image data in a case where a processing instruction is input after the preview image is displayed; and in a case where the controller determines that the preview image is not to be displayed, execute the particular processing based on the read-image data without displaying the preview image.

An image forming system includes: a sheet feeder; an image former that forms an image on a paper sheet; a conveyor that conveys a paper sheet to a sheet ejection destination; a switcher that switches sheet ejection destinations; a reader that optically reads a paper sheet, and outputs a read image; an abnormal sheet detector that detects an abnormal paper sheet by analyzing the read image; a storage; a display; and a hardware processor that performs: ejection destination switch control to control the switcher to eject an abnormal paper sheet and a succeeding paper sheet to a second ejection destination different from a regular ejection destination; storage control, for each of the abnormal paper sheet and the succeeding paper sheet, to associate sheet information, the read image, and a stacking order with one another, and store them into the storage; and display control to cause the display to display them.

An image forming apparatus comprising: an image forming unit configured to convey a recording medium, and form an image on the recording medium based on an image forming condition; and a controller configured to control the image forming unit to form a test image and a scale image extending a conveyance direction in which the recording medium is conveyed, obtain user instruction information related to a density fluctuation of the test image in the conveyance direction, and to generate the image forming condition to suppresses image density unevenness in the conveyance direction to an image to be formed by the image forming unit based on the user instruction information.

A recording material transport system includes a first transport apparatus including a transport unit that transports a recording material and a notification unit that notifies a user about how to deal with a recording material whose transport has been stopped; and a second transport apparatus including a transport unit that transports a recording material transported from the first transport apparatus and a notification unit that notifies the user about how to deal with a recording material whose transport has been stopped, wherein in a case where a recording material has stopped in both of the first and second transport apparatus, the notification unit of the first transport apparatus notifies the user about how to deal with the recording material in the first transport apparatus, and the notification unit of the second transport apparatus notifies the user about how to deal with the recording material in the second transport apparatus.

An image forming apparatus including a plurality of sheet feeding cassettes includes a control unit. The control unit performs control. In a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied during execution of a print job to print image data, the control unit performs control to execute interruption processing of a correction job to print a correction patch. The control unit performs control to determine, from the plurality of sheet feeding cassettes, a sheet feeding cassette to be used for the correction job based on information on the sheet feeding cassette used for the print job.

A printing apparatus capable of conveying sheets to a sheet processing apparatus and to control the type of a sheet to be used as a cover sheet in a case where a book bound product is generated by switching back sheets each having an image printed, inverting the sheets and folding the inverted sheets, and to notify an error to a user based on the type of a sheet to be used as the cover sheet in a case where printing an image on the cover sheet is designated.
