The cleaning member includes a base portion including a first surface positioned on one side of the frame, a second surface positioned on the other side of the frame, and a third surface, and includes a projected portion. The projected portion includes a first side surface positioned on the aforementioned the other side and a second side surface positioned on the aforementioned one side. The first side surface is positioned between the first surface and the second surface. The first side surface constitutes an end surface of the projected portion on the aforementioned the other side with respect to the axial direction, and the second side surface constitutes an end surface of the projected portion on the aforementioned one side with respect to the axial direction.

An apparatus includes a developer container to and from which a replenishment container is attachable and detachable and which includes an accommodating portion and a replenishment port, a transfer portion configured to transfer a developer image on an image bearing member onto a recording material, a supporting tray including a supporting surface configured to support the recording material thereon, and a discharge portion configured to discharge the recording material, onto which the developer image has been transferred, on the supporting surface, wherein the supporting surface has an opening portion opening such that the replenishment port is exposed through the supporting surface, and wherein an opening/closing member configured to be movable between a closed position where the opening/closing member covers the replenishment port and serves as a part of the supporting surface and an open position where the replenishment port is exposed is provided.

An image forming apparatus includes a belt component, a first detachable unit that faces the belt component in an area where an outer surface of the belt component faces upward, a first housing component that houses the first detachable unit and is drawable from and loadable into the apparatus, a second detachable unit that faces the belt component in an area where the outer surface of the belt component faces downward, and a second housing component that houses the second detachable unit and is drawable from and loadable into the apparatus. With the first housing component being drawn from the apparatus, the first detachable unit is detachable from and attachable to the first housing component in a side-to-side direction. With the second housing component being drawn from the apparatus, the second detachable unit is detachable from and attachable to the second housing component in an upward direction.

An image forming apparatus configured to form an image on a sheet, the image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, and a detachable unit. The detachable unit includes a first positioned portion and a second positioned portion. The apparatus body includes a frame member having a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion which respectively engage with the first positioned and second positioned portion, so that the detachable unit is positioned with respect to frame member in the attaching direction and the first direction. The second positioning portion is arranged closer to a center portion of the detachable unit in the second direction than the first positioning portion.

A container apparatus includes a first container unit that is movable from a first position at which a recording medium having a first size is to be supplied into an apparatus body to a second position at which a user is to supply the recording medium and that includes an upstream end portion and a downstream end portion in a direction in which the recording medium is to be supplied into the apparatus body with the first container unit positioned at the first position. The upstream end portion and the downstream end portion of the first container unit are located at different heights with the first container unit positioned at the second position.

An image forming apparatus includes: a first housing; a second housing that is supported above the first housing; a mounting part that is provided at at least one of the first housing and the second housing; and a detachable part that is disposed across the first housing and the second housing, the detachable part being mounted detachably with respect to the mounting part and being attachable and detachable in an attaching-detaching direction that connects one side surface and another side surface of the first housing.

An image forming apparatus includes a developer container to and from which a replenishment container is attachable and detachable, the developer container including an accommodating portion, and a supporting portion, wherein the developer container includes a projection portion that is provided at one end portion thereof in the rotation axis direction of the developer bearing member and projects toward the supporting portion more than a center portion of the developer container in a crossing direction crossing the rotation axis direction, the projection portion communicates with the accommodating portion and includes, at a distal end portion thereof, an attachment portion configured such that the replenishment container is attachable thereto in a state of being exposed to the outside of the apparatus, and a replenishment port for replenishing the accommodating portion with developer from the replenishment container is defined in the attachment portion.

An image forming apparatus includes a developer container to and from which the replenishment container is attachable and detachable and which includes an accommodating portion that accommodates developer and a replenishment port, an agitation member, an opening/closing member configured to be movable between a closed position and an open position, a drive source for driving the agitation member, and a control portion configured to control the drive source. The apparatus is configured such that image formation is not possible when the opening/closing member is at the open position, and the agitation member is capable of driving in a case where the opening/closing member is at the open position.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion including a photosensitive member and a developing portion configured to develop, with toner, an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive member, the image forming portion being configured to form an image on the sheet, a first frame including an upper space supporting the image forming portion and a lower space under the upper space, an accommodating portion configured to accommodate the sheet, a feeding portion configured to feed the sheet accommodated in the accommodating portion, and a supply container configured to contain the toner to be supplied to the developing portion of the image forming portion. The accommodating portion and the feeding portion are provided in the lower space and, alternatively, the supply container is provided in the lower space together with a second frame which is mountable to a lower portion of the first frame.
