Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes: a duct that recovers scattered toner and ozone generated in an image former, wherein the duct is partitioned into two parts, one of the partitioned parts is a scattered toner recovery path that recovers the scattered toner, and the other of the partitioned parts is an ozone recovery path that recovers the ozone.
Imaging system having air flow generator in developer storage container
An imaging system includes a rotatable image carrier; a rotatable developer carrier, a storage container, and an air flow generator. The developer carrier transfers toner to the image carrier at a developing region located between the image carrier and the developer carrier. The storage container stores the developer carrier. The air flow generator is separated from the storage container by a gap, and rotates in a rotational direction that is opposite to a rotational direction of the developer carrier, to channel an air flow through the gap when the air flow generator rotates.
Heating device and image forming apparatus
A heating device includes a heating unit that heats in a non-contact manner an upper surface of a transport material that is transported; and a blowing unit that blows air against a lower surface of the transport material via multiple blowing holes that open with respect to the lower surface, the multiple blowing holes being disposed so that blowing holes that are closest and adjacent to each other in a transport direction of the transport material are shifted from each other in an intersection direction that intersects the transport direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE HEATING APPARATUS
The present invention is characterized in that a control portion respectively sets a heating amount with respect to a region in which an image is formed and a heating amount with respect to a region in which an image is not formed in a single sheet of a recording material, and a difference between the heating amount with respect to the region in which an image is formed and the heating amount with respect to the region in which an image is not formed differs depending on a type of the recording material.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, an image holding member, at least one image forming unit, a recording medium container, a plate-shaped separator, and an air blowing device. The at least one image forming unit forms an image on the image holding member. The recording medium container contains a recording medium to be fed to the at least one image forming unit. The separator has an opening, is adjacent to the at least one image forming unit in the apparatus body, and separates the at least one image forming unit and the recording medium container from each other. The air blowing device is disposed at the opening provided in the separator. An adjacent space in which the recording medium container is disposed is provided. The air blowing device blows air from the adjacent space toward the at least one image forming unit.
POWDER COLLECTING DEVICE AND PROCESSING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A powder collecting device includes a collecting container and a ventilation passage. The collecting container is removably attachable to a housing of a processing apparatus including a powder processing unit, has one or more collecting openings through which heat-melting powder transported from the powder processing unit is collected, and includes an accommodation space capable of accommodating the collected powder. The ventilation passage is partitioned from the accommodation space of the collecting container. Airflow generated by an airflow generator passes through the ventilation passage. The ventilation passage extends in a longitudinal direction of the collecting container, and has an inlet through which the airflow is introduced and a ventilation hole formed in a downstream section of the ventilation passage in a direction of the airflow.
LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE AND DRAWING APPARATUS
A light emitting device includes: a base that extends in one direction, and has an opening; plural light emitting units that are disposed to be displaced from each other in the one direction on the front surface side of the base, the light emitting units each including a support that extends in the one direction, and plural light sources that are disposed in the one direction on the support; and an air blowing unit that blows air toward the light emitting units through the opening.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first air suction port sucking an air containing ozone, a second air suction port sucking an air containing the scattered toner, and a duct unit partitioned into a first duct passing through the air containing ozone and a second duct passing through the air containing toner. The duct includes a first fan generating a first air flow inside the first duct to suck the air from the first air suction port and a second fan generating a second air flow inside the second duct to suck the air from the second air suction port. An ozone filter is detachably provided to both the first and second ducts, disposed straddling the first and second ducts, and filters the ozone contained in the first and second air flows.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device, a driving device, an external temperature detector, an internal temperature detector, a work amount detector, and control circuitry. When a temperature detected by the external temperature detector is lower than a temperature threshold, the circuitry shifts to a first restriction state based on a work amount and temporarily stops drive of the image forming device for a period every time the amount reaches a threshold. When the temperature is not lower than the temperature threshold, the circuitry shifts to a second restriction state based on an internal temperature. In the second state, in a case where the internal temperature is higher than a first threshold, the circuitry performs an intermittent operation of repeating a pause state and a printing state, until the internal temperature falls to be equal to or lower than a second threshold being lower than the first threshold.
Exhaust device and image forming apparatus
An exhaust device includes: a flow path section through which gas containing ozone generated inside a device body flows; a joint section connected to the flow path section with an inlet opening where hot gas generated inside the device body flows, and where gas containing ozone and hot gas are joined internally; a first air flow generator that generates an air flow which causes the gas containing ozone to flow through the flow path section and to the joint section; and a second air flow generator that causes the gas containing ozone and the hot gas to be joined and discharged from the joint section to outside the device body so that a flow rate of the joint gas discharged from the joint section to outside the device body is higher than a flow rate of the gas containing ozone to the joint section by the first air flow generator.
