Provided is an image forming apparatus, including; an imaging forming unit for forming a toner image on one surface of a recording material; a fixing unit that includes a heating unit and heats and fixes the toner image formed on the one surface; a discharging unit for discharging the recording material, on which the toner image is fixed, to a discharged paper tray; and a guide member that is disposed between the fixing unit and the discharging unit and forms a recording material conveying path for conveying the recording material from the fixing unit to the discharging unit. On the guide member, a blowing port to send air to the recording material conveying path and a suction port to suck air from the recording material conveying path are disposed on a same surface so as not to cross over the recording materials.

An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device, a conveyance rollers pair, a curved path and a first guide roller. The fixing device fixes a toner image on a sheet. The conveyance rollers pair conveys the sheet on which the toner image is fixed by the fixing device. The curved path is provided between the fixing device and the conveyance rollers pair, and the sheet is conveyed along the curved path with a toner image fixed surface facing an inner peripheral side of the curved path. The first guide roller is shiftable between a guide position protruding in the curved path from the inner peripheral side and the inner peripheral side. When the sheet is conveyed along the curved path, the first guide roller is pushed by the sheet while rotating following the sheet and then is shifted from the guide position to the inner peripheral side.

A loop detection unit including a first contact portion in contact with a back surface of the recording material. A residual sheet detection unit including a second contact portion that is configured to come into contact with the back surface of the recording material. The first contact portion and the second contact portion are configured to rotate on the same rotation shaft. The second contact portion is configured to come into contact with the back surface of the recording material on a downstream of the first contact portion in the conveyance direction of the recording material.

A reading apparatus includes a feeding roller pair configured to feed a sheet supplied from another apparatus that is to be connected to the reading apparatus; a tray provided above the feeding roller pair in a vertical direction; a conveyance path through which the sheet is to be conveyed to discharge the sheet fed by the feeding roller pair to the tray; a first conveyance roller pair which is provided in the conveyance path, and is configured to convey the sheet; a second conveyance roller pair which is provided in the conveyance path on a downstream of the first conveyance roller pair in a conveying direction in which the sheet is conveyed, and is configured to convey the sheet; and a reading unit configured to read an image formed on the sheet while moving in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction.

An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device, a conveyance rollers pair, a curved path and a first guide roller. The fixing device fixes a toner image on a sheet. The conveyance rollers pair conveys the sheet on which the toner image is fixed by the fixing device. The curved path is provided between the fixing device and the conveyance rollers pair, and the sheet is conveyed along the curved path with a toner image fixed surface facing an inner peripheral side of the curved path. The first guide roller is shiftable between a guide position protruding in the curved path from the inner peripheral side and the inner peripheral side. When the sheet is conveyed along the curved path, the first guide roller is pushed by the sheet while rotating following the sheet and then is shifted from the guide position to the inner peripheral side.

Provided is an image forming apparatus, including; an imaging forming unit for forming a toner image on one surface of a recording material; a fixing unit that includes a heating unit and heats and fixes the toner image formed on the one surface; a discharging unit for discharging the recording material, on which the toner image is fixed, to a discharged paper tray; and a guide member that is disposed between the fixing unit and the discharging unit and forms a recording material conveying path for conveying the recording material from the fixing unit to the discharging unit. On the guide member, a blowing port to send air to the recording material conveying path and a suction port to suck air from the recording material conveying path are disposed on a same surface so as not to cross over the recording materials.

A reading apparatus includes a feeding roller pair configured to feed a sheet supplied from another apparatus that is to be connected to the reading apparatus; a tray provided above the feeding roller pair in a vertical direction; a conveyance path through which the sheet is to be conveyed to discharge the sheet fed by the feeding roller pair to the tray; a first conveyance roller pair which is provided in the conveyance path, and is configured to convey the sheet; a second conveyance roller pair which is provided in the conveyance path on a downstream of the first conveyance roller pair in a conveying direction in which the sheet is conveyed, and is configured to convey the sheet; and a reading unit configured to read an image formed on the sheet while moving in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction.

A loop detection unit including a first contact portion in contact with a back surface of the recording material. A residual sheet detection unit including a second contact portion that is configured to come into contact with the back surface of the recording material. The first contact portion and the second contact portion are configured to rotate on the same rotation shaft. The second contact portion is configured to come into contact with the back surface of the recording material on a downstream of the first contact portion in the conveyance direction of the recording material.

An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that forms a toner image on paper using a toner containing a wax component; a fixer that fixes the toner image formed on the paper; a cleaner including a cleaning roller that contacts a surface of the paper that has passed through the fixer and causes the wax component to adhere to an outer peripheral surface of the cleaning roller; a cooler that supplies air at least over the outer peripheral surface of the cleaning roller; and a hardware processor that controls operations of the cleaner and the cooler.

An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that forms a toner image on paper using a toner containing a wax component; a fixer that fixes the toner image formed on the paper; a cleaner including a cleaning roller that contacts a surface of the paper that has passed through the fixer and causes the wax component to adhere to an outer peripheral surface of the cleaning roller; a cooler that supplies air at least over the outer peripheral surface of the cleaning roller; and a hardware processor that controls operations of the cleaner and the cooler.
