IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes an image forming unit, a pressure-bonding processing unit, a display portion, and a control unit capable of controlling the image forming unit by acquiring image data for forming a toner image on a recording medium in an operation in an image forming mode. The control portion controls the display portion to issue a warning in a case that the toner image to be formed on an inner surface of the recording medium to be folded protrudes outside a film region, the film region being a region of the inner surface to which a thermosensitive adhesive film is to be supplied.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes an image forming unit for forming a first toner image and a second toner image on a first surface and a second surface of a recording medium by using toner containing wax; a pressure-bonding unit for pressure-bonding the recording medium folded in two by applying heat and pressure to the recording medium, an inner surface of the recording medium folded in two being pressure-bonded via an adhesive medium, one of the first surface and the second surface being the inner surface of the recording medium folded in two, the pressure-bonding unit pressure-bonding the recording medium folded in two via an adhesive member; and a control unit for determining an image forming order so that an image is formed on an outer surface of the recording medium folded in two, and then on the inner surface of the recording medium folded in two.
PRINTED MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATERIAL
A printed material includes: a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface on which an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer are formed, the recording medium being folded upon the recording medium and pressure-bonded; or a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface on which an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer are formed and an additional recording medium, the recording medium and the additional recording medium being stacked and pressure-bonded together. When the printed material is unfolded into an unfolded medium by peeling pressure-bonded surfaces of the printed material off from each other and a surface of the unfolded medium that corresponds to the pressure-bonded surfaces of the printed material is observed, an exposed area ratio EA of the pressure phase transition layer in an outer edge portion E located in a location corresponding to at least one of edges of the printed material is smaller than an exposed area ratio IA of the pressure phase transition layer in a region other than the outer edge portion E.
Printing apparatus, controlling method thereof and storage medium
A printing apparatus includes a printing unit that prints images on sheets, a sheet processing unit that executes bookbinding processing on sheets on which images have been printed by the printing unit, a stack control unit that stacks, in a stacking unit, bookbinding products on which bookbinding processing has been executed by the sheet processing unit, a setting unit that sets whether or not to activate a stacking limit of bookbinding products to be stacked on the stacking unit by the stack limiting unit, and a control unit that performs control so as to stop stacking in the stacking unit by the stack control unit in accordance with the stacking limit in the case where the stacking limit of bookbinding products has been set to activated by the setting unit.
Sheet processing device and image forming device provided with the same
A sheet processing device includes: an adhesive-binding unit that applies an adhesive onto sheets stored in a stacker section one by one and adhesive-binds the sheets; a staple-binding unit that staple-binds sheets accumulated in the stacker section by means of staples; and a folding mechanism section having a folding roller that folds the adhesive-bound or staple-bound sheet bundle in two at a binding position of the adhesive-binding unit or staple-binding unit and a folding blade that pushes the bound sheet bundle into the folding roller. A folding speed of the folding mechanism section for the sheet bundle bound by the adhesive-binding unit is lower than a folding speed for the sheet bundle bound by the staple-binding unit; thereby, productivity of the folding processing is improved and occurrence of the peeling-off or break during the folding processing is reduced.
Sheet processing apparatus, image forming system, and pair of rotating members
A sheet processing apparatus includes a rotating member, a switching unit, and a pressing unit. The rotating member is rotatable and has a facing portion that faces a fold section of a sheet. The rotating member rotates so as to switch the facing portion to another facing portion. Each facing portion is provided with a protrusion. A set position of the protrusion in an axial direction varies from facing portion to facing portion. The switching unit rotates the rotating member so as to switch the facing portion that faces the fold section. The pressing unit presses the protrusion of the facing portion against the fold section.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
Provided is a sheet processing apparatus, including: a regulation portion configured to contact with an end edge of a sheet to be conveyed and to regulate a position of the sheet; a position adjustment portion configured to perform position adjustment on a sheet in a direction along an end edge of the sheet of which the end edge is in contact with the regulation portion; a folding portion configured to perform folding processing on a sheet which has been regulated by the regulation portion; and a control portion configured to execute: a first mode of causing the folding portion to perform the folding processing on a sheet which has been regulated by the regulation portion, without causing the position adjustment portion to perform the position adjustment on the sheet; and a second mode of causing the position adjustment portion to perform the position adjustment with respect to the regulated sheet.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE RESIN PARTICLE DISPERSION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRESSURE-RESPONSIVE RESIN, METHOD FOR PRODUCING TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPMENT, AND COMPOSITE RESIN PARTICLE DISPERSION
A method for producing a composite resin particle dispersion includes: polymerizing a (meth)acrylic acid ester compound to form a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin; and polymerizing a styrene compound and a vinyl monomer other than the styrene compound in the presence of the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin to form composite resin particles containing a styrene-based resin and the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin. The mass ratio of the styrene-based resin to the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin in the composite resin particles is from 80:20 to 20:80. A difference between the lowest glass transition temperature and the highest glass transition temperature in the composite resin particles is 30° C. or more.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a saddle unit on which a mountain-folded sheet folded along a folding line is accumulated so as to straddle the saddle unit, a staple inserting section disposed above the saddle unit, and a staple receiving section accommodated in the saddle unit. The staple inserting section includes an inserting unit which inserts a staple into the folding lines of the sheets, and holding members disposed on both sides of the inserting unit in a direction parallel to the folding lines of the sheets. The staple receiving section includes a staple receiving unit which receives and bends the tips of the staple inserted by the inserting unit, and supporting members disposed on both sides of the staple receiving unit at positions opposite to the holding members.
