A fixing device includes a stationary member, a roller, an endless belt, a pressure rotator, and a lubricant applicator. The endless belt is stretched over the stationary member and the roller. The pressure rotator is disposed opposite the stationary member via the endless belt to form a fixing nip between the pressure rotator and the endless belt on the stationary member. The lubricant applicator contacts the roller over an entire length of the roller in an axial direction of the roller. The lubricant applicator contacts an inner surface of the endless belt and has an axial length equal to or greater than an axial length of the stationary member.

A fusing device of which a lifespan may be increased by stably supplying a lubricant to a fusing belt, and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided. The fusing device includes: a fusing roller configured to be rotatable; a fusing belt configured to be circumscribed to the fusing roller to be driven and rotated by the fusing roller; a nip forming member configured to be inscribed to the fusing belt to form a nip at a contact portion of the fusing roller; a lubricant supplying unit configured to include a lubricant accommodating portion provided at one side of the nip forming member and storing a lubricant and an impregnating member impregnating the lubricant from the lubricant accommodating portion and supplying the lubricant to an inner surface of the fusing belt; and a fixing member configured to be fixedly installed between the impregnating member and the nip forming member to prevent the impregnating member from being separated from the nip forming member due to the rotation of the fusing belt.

A process for applying a release agent and pressure sensitive adhesive to cut sheet media to thereby eliminate a separate release liner. A silicone oil plus additive release layer is applied during fusing on a top surface of cut media and then UV cured. A pressure sensitive adhesive layer is applied next. The cut sheets are then stacked and a compressive force is applied that transfers the pressure sensitive adhesive from one sheet to another and helps hold the stack together.

Each of the guides includes a guide portion in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt and a lubricant holder holding a lubricant that is disposed adjacent to the guide portion and not in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt.
