LUBRICANT REPLACEMENT CASE
A lubricant replacement case for an image forming apparatus includes a housing including a plurality of storage compartments to accommodate at least one lubricant unit. The plurality of storage compartments include at least one storage compartment for unused lubricant to be inserted into the image forming apparatus and at least one storage compartment for used lubricant to be retrieved from the image forming apparatus.
Photo-interruptor unit, sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming apparatus
A photo-interruptor unit includes a photo-interruptor and a supporting portion to detachably support the photo-interruptor. The supporting portion includes a hole which is formed on an attaching surface and through which a hook portion is inserted, and a guide portion to protrude from the attaching surface and guide the hook portion so that it deforms in a deformation direction when the photo-interruptor is moved in a movement direction intersecting an insertion direction. A regulating portion protrudes from the attaching surface and forms continuously with the guide portion to regulate a position in the movement direction of the photo-interruptor. The guide portion includes a first rib portion and a second rib portion that oppose one another in the deformation direction, and a distance between the first rib portion and the second rib portion in the deformation direction narrows toward a downstream direction of the movement direction.
Processing Cartridge and Electronic Imaging Device
The present invention provides a process cartridge and an electronic imaging device. The process cartridge includes a cartridge body having an accommodating cavity; a developing roller rotatably installed in the accommodating cavity; a photosensitive drum rotatably installed in the cartridge body; a charging roller that is in contact with a peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum and is spaced from the developing roller; and a cleaning member that is located in the accommodating cavity and installed in the cartridge body, extends in a direction parallel to the charging roller, and is in contact with a peripheral surface of the charging roller. The developing roller is in contact with the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum. The electronic imaging device includes a machine body, and the foregoing process cartridge is detachably installed thereon. The present invention can increase the utilization rate of toner and reduce abrasion of the photosensitive drum.

PHOTOSENSITIVE DRUM, PROCESS UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
In a photosensitive drum, a drum flange is press-fitted to each end of a drum element tube. The drum flange includes a flange facing the drum element tube, and a press-in boss formed on a drum-facing surface side of the flange and press-fitted to the inner circumferential side of the drum element tube. The outer circumferential surface of the press-in boss is configured so that partial cylindrical surfaces to be in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the drum element tube and oppositely-facing partial cylindrical surfaces not to be in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the drum element tube are alternately formed along the circumferential direction. First openings formed to penetrate at least a part of the press-in boss are respectively provided on the proximal end side of the partial cylindrical surfaces in the press-in boss.

Image forming apparatus including developing unit and photosensitive unit
A developing unit and a photosensitive unit respectively have engaging mechanism parts that fit in each other in the longitudinal direction so as to integrate the developing unit and the photosensitive unit. The developing unit includes, as the engaging mechanism part, a first holding member to hold the front end part of a drum shaft. The photosensitive unit includes, as the engaging mechanism part, a second holding member to hold the rear end part of a roller shaft. The first holding member and the second holding member are provided in a slidable manner in a direction in which the developing roller and the photosensitive drum separate from each other, and furthermore are biased toward a direction in which the developing roller and the photosensitive drum come close to each other.
Electrophotographic photosensitive member having outer surface with first and second structure groups, the first structure group having a smaller appearance period and a lower height than the second structure group
Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive drum that achieves both of a reduction in torque of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum at the time of its cleaning and an improvement in image transferability. The electrophotographic photosensitive drum includes: a support; and a photosensitive layer arranged on the support, the electrophotographic photosensitive drum having arranged on an outer surface thereof at least two structure groups having different appearance periods, wherein when, out of the two structure groups, a group including structures having a smaller appearance period is defined as a first structure group, and a group including structures having a larger appearance period is defined as a second structure group, a height of the first structure group is lower than a height of the second structure group.
