Compositions are provided which may comprise a plurality of organic additive particles, the particles comprising a polymerization product of reactants comprising a dioxane/dioxolane monomer and a vinyl co-monomer, wherein the dioxane/dioxolane monomer is an ester of (meth)acrylic acid with an alcohol comprising a dioxane moiety, an ester of (meth)acrylic acid with an alcohol comprising a dioxolane moiety, or both. ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER, DEVELOPER, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner, a two-component developer, and an image forming method, each capable of employing a two-component trickle touchdown developing system which ensures excellent image density stability and no occurrence of ghost and is used in an electrophotographic copier or an electrostatic recording device. The present invention provides an electrostatic charge image developing toner having positive chargeability; containing a styrene acrylic resin as the binding resin; and containing a nigrosine-containing positive charge control agent and a negative charge control agent as the charge control agent, in which the percentage content of the percentage content of the negative charge control agent in all charge control agents is not less than the percentage content of the positive charge control agent.
Charge control agent and toner using same
To provide a charge control agent and a toner having a superior charging characteristic. A charge control agent containing a bis-phthalimide derivative represented by formula. Thus, it is possible to provide a safe, negative chargeability charge control agent with which the rate of rise of the charge can be increased, and which has a high charging amount and poses no problem in terms of waste regulations. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a negatively chargeable toner (and particularly, a negatively chargeable polymerized toner) for electrostatic image development which uses this charging control agent and has a superior charging characteristic.

Toner
A toner having an adequate storage stability and adequately suppressing an ejected paper adhesion, while achieving improving low-temperature fixability, has a toner particle containing a binder resin and a plasticizer, wherein Tg1 is 53° C. or lower and Tg2 is 55° C. or higher, in DSC measurement using the toner as a sample, when the following steps (i) to (iii) are performed: (i): the temperature of the toner is raised for the first time at a rate of temperature increase of 10° C./min, (ii): after the step (i), the temperature of the toner is lowered at a rate of temperature decrease of 10° C./min, (iii): after the step (ii), the temperature of the toner is raised for the second time at a rate of temperature increase of 10° C./min, Tg1 represents a glass transition temperature measured at the step (i), and Tg2 represents a glass transition temperature measured at the step (iii).

An emulsion aggregation toner including a toner particle comprising at least one resin; an optional colorant; an optional wax; and a charge control agent disposed on a surface of the toner particle; the charge control agent comprising a complex formed from a metal ion donor and at least one of a ligand selected from a member of the group consisting of a polyaromatic acid comprising humic acid, a pyranone based ligand, a furanone based ligand, or a combination thereof.

CHARGE CONTROL AGENTS AND PARTICLE DISPERSIONS INCLUDING THE SAME
Mixtures are disclosed containing a plurality of charged pigment particles and a one or more charge control agents. At least one of the charge control agents has a chemical structure that includes a cationic head group, such as an ammonium cation or an iminium compound, and a non-ionic, polar functional group, other than an acyclic secondary amide group. The mixtures are useful as dispersions for forming electrophoretic media that may be incorporated into electrophoretic displays. Alternatively, the dispersions may be useful for forming electrophotographic toners and dispersions for other printing applications.
