Dial for a universal watch
A dial includes a ring in the form of an annular plate, a central disc mounted in a concentric and essentially coplanar manner with respect to the ring, the diameter of the central disc being less than the internal diameter of the ring so as to form an annular area between the two, and a transparent part which covers the annular area. Further, the transparent part is fixed to the central disc and to the ring to secure these elements to each other. The dial can be used in a timepiece with a universal time display and makes it possible to mount a twenty-four hour disc underneath the dial, and to view the markings on the twenty-four disc through the transparent part.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device includes: a case (top case); a bezel having a ring shape located on the outer edge side of the case and attached to the case; and a windshield plate located inside the bezel. The bezel includes a first member (bezel main body portion) having a ring shape fitted to the case and a second member (bezel display plate) softer than the first member and holding the windshield plate.
ADDITIONAL TIME ZONE DISPLAY MODULE
A display module (100) for displaying at least two time zones. The display module (100) includes at least one date wheel (110), at least one main wheel (120) and at least one movable intermediate wheel (130). The at least one date wheel (110) is configured to displace said at least one movable intermediate wheel (130) into at least one first position (101) and to drive the at least one main wheel (120) via the at least one movable intermediate wheel (130). The at least one main wheel (120) is configured to displace the at least one movable intermediate wheel (130) into at least one second position (102) so as to disengage the at least one movable intermediate wheel (130) from the at least one date wheel (110) and to correct the time of the at least one second time zone.
Watch having a protective layer covering a power generating unit and an antenna
A watch includes a case, and a solar cell disposed inside the case and including a substrate made of resin and having a surface, a power generating unit having, at the surface, a first electrode, a first semiconductor layer, and a second electrode that are stacked in order, a first antenna including a third electrode that is provided at the surface and that is disposed at a position not to overlap the power generating unit in a plan view viewed in a direction orthogonal to the surface, and a protective layer disposed covering the power generating unit and the first antenna.
WATCH CASE COMPRISING A MECHANISM FOR ACTUATING A MOVING INDICATOR
Provided is a watch case (10) that includes a middle (11) to which are attached a crystal (12) and a back (13) delimiting an internal volume in which is arranged a horological movement (14) intended to drive indicating members. The case (10) also includes a mechanism for actuating an indicator (16) capable of moving in rotation and housed inside the internal volume of the case (10), the actuation mechanism including a bezel (15) capable of moving in rotation and intended to be handled by a user, and a transmission pinion (17) arranged such that it meshes with the bezel (15) and the indicator (16), the respective axes of rotation of the bezel (15), the transmission pinion (17) and the indicator (16) being parallel to one another.
ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE AND SETTING DISPLAY METHOD
An electronic timepiece includes: a bezel having location markers for indicating positions of the world; a second hand moving relative to the bezel; a memory storing time difference information in which each location marker is associated with information relating to a time zone to which a position indicated by each location marker belongs; and a controller performing operation control for moving the second hand relative to the bezel, and the bezel has a set exception indication position representing non-correspondence to any time zone associated with each location marker by being in a predetermined positional relationship with the second hand, and the controller causes the second hand and the exception indication position to be in the predetermined positional relationship when there is no location marker associated with a set time zone, during display relating to the set time zone for a date and time to be displayed.
SECURITY HUB UTILIZING NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION TO ONBOARD SENSORS
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a security hub includes a near field communication (NFC) interface, a communications interface, and a computer processor. The NFC interface is configured to detect an NFC-enabled sensor. The communications interface is configured to establish communication with the NFC-enabled sensor, a communications network, and an electronic device. The computer processor is operatively connected to the NFC interface and the communications interface and configured to: onboard the NFC-enabled sensor, analyze detection information received from the NFC-enabled sensor, and perform an action in response to the analysis of the detection information.
World watch
A world watch capable of automatically adjusting displayed information otherwise indicating time of day around the world upon occurrence of a daylight savings time event.
Electronic timepiece
An electronic timepiece has an outside perimeter part disposed around a dial, hands, and a control unit. Further, 40 to 60 time zone indicators including time difference information representing the time difference between Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and the standard time used in each time zone are on the outside perimeter part. The control unit indicates a specific time zone indicator with a hand.
Rotating GMT Watch Bezel With Minute Markers
A watch bezel provides a GMT function and a count-up time-tracking function. The watch bezel includes a first set of indicia to indicate 24 hours associated with the GMT function of the watch and a second set of indicia to indicate 60 minutes in an hour. When mounted or attached to the watch casing or body, the bezel is rotatable in the clockwise direction and in the counter-clockwise direction. The watch bezel enables a user to read or set the time associated with a secondary time zone without adjusting any hands on the watch. The second set of indicia comprises a plurality of incremental minute markers and allows a user to track elapsed time. The capability of tracking elapsed time allows the watch to be used in activities that require tracking of elapsed time such as diving or other sporting events.
