Electronic timepiece device indicating the time and the azimuth of the sun by means of a single indicator hand
An electronic timepiece device including an electronic processing unit determining first, geolocation parameters and second parameters concerning the current legal standard time, and establishing local horizontal coordinates of the Sun from predetermined calculation rules stored in a memory of the electronic processing unit. The device also has a dial equipped with a casing enclosing all or part of the electronic processing unit and equipped with a display system displaying at least one indicator hand having an orientation that varies over time such that the angle formed between the indicator hand and a first fixed reference axis of the dial is equal, at each instant, to the azimuth of the Sun established by the processing unit, and a time scale calculated by the electronic processing unit and displayed at the periphery of the dial in the form of a plurality of time points positioned, with respect to the first fixed reference axis, as a function of the azimuth of the Sun respectively at the times of which the time points are representative. Thus the indicator needle simultaneously indicates, at each instant, a representation of the relative directions of the Sun and of the cardinal point of the culmination of the Sun and the current legal time.

A device (1), and timepiece having the device, for displaying a succession of periodic events which form an annual cycle, including a periodic events indicator member (2) and a mechanism (4) for managing a duration during which the periodic events are displayed by the periodic events indicator member (2). The management mechanism includes a cam (8) for managing a duration during which the periodic events are displayed, which cam is arranged such that it controls the change from the indication of a periodic event to the indication of a subsequent periodic event by the periodic events indicator member, a periodic driver (10) for driving the management cam (8) and a member (6) disposed between the management cam and the periodic events indicator member and arranged such that it drives the periodic events indicator member (2) during a change in event. The device displays the periods of the zodiac.
Timepiece capable of indicating the position of the sun with respect to the horizon anywhere in the world
A timepiece including a timepiece movement and sunrise and sunset indicating device that take account of the date and geolocation of the user, the device including a first device for receiving the current date, a second device for receiving a geolocation signal, and a disc bearing a representation of the sun, arranged to be capable of pivoting about an axis passing through the centre of the disc. The sunrise and sunset indicating device include a movable horizon arranged to move above the disc and to indicate the position of the sun with respect to the horizon.

DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING THE MOON ON DEMAND
The present invention relates to a device (100) for displaying the moon for a timepiece on demand. The display device (100) comprises a first movable indicator member (110) and having a representation of the moon (111). This representation of the moon (111) is completely or partially occulted by an occulting element (121) that is located on a second movable indicator member (120) when the user so requests and in particular via a control unit.
MOON PHASE DISPLAY
A moon phase display includes a frame and a plurality of display elements supported by the frame and rotatable relative to the frame. The plurality of display elements further includes a first side face on which an illuminated moon portion is depicted and a second side face. A first rotational position in which the first side face is arranged along a display plane wherein the first side faces together arranged on along the display plane represent a full moon. A second rotational position in which the second side face is arranged along the display plane. A drive rotates each of the plurality of display elements independently. A controller actuates the drive so that each one of the plurality of display elements is rotated into the second rotational position until all of the plurality of display elements are located in the second rotational position.
DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING A SUCCESSION OF INDICATIONS OF A TIME VARIABLE FOR A TIMEPIECE
A device (1) for displaying a succession of indications of a time variable for a timepiece, this display device (1) including an indicator which carries the succession of indications of the time variable to be displayed, and is arranged to be driven by a horological movement to move from an initial position to a final position through a succession of intermediate positions in which the display of the time variable passes from one indication to the next indication at a required frequency. Also included is a mechanism (22; 72) for positioning the indicator in a reference position and an actuating device, the mechanism including a cam on which acts, when actuated, the actuating device such that the mechanism brings the indicator back to its predetermined reference position.
