Paramagnetic hard stainless steel and manufacturing process thereof
A paramagnetic stainless steel with a chemical composition including by weight: 26≤Cr≤40%, 5≤Ni≤20%, 0≤Mn≤5%, 0≤Al≤5%, 0≤Mo≤3%, 0≤Cu≤2%, 0≤Si≤5%, 0≤Ti≤1%, 0≤Nb≤1%, 0≤C≤0.1%, 0≤N≤0.1%, 0≤S≤0.5%, 0≤P≤0.1%, the remainder consisting of iron and any impurities each having a content less than or equal to 0.5%, the steel having a hardness HV10 between 500 and 900. It also relates to a part particularly a horological component made of this steel and to the process for manufacturing the part.
CERMET AND/OR CERAMIC MULTI-COLOURED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A cermet and/or ceramic multi-coloured article, and in particular a bezel (1) of a timepiece, produced by a method for compressing at least two materials (2, 3) of distinct colours, the article including a relief decoration (8) of a different colour from the rest of the article, the decoration (8) being produced by laser ablation on one of the materials (3) after compression of the two materials (2, 3).
Timepiece Component, Timepiece, And Method For Manufacturing Timepiece Component
A method for manufacturing a timepiece component includes: forming a first processed surface having a predetermined pattern by irradiating a surface of a receiving plate with a femtosecond laser; and forming a second processed surface having a surface roughness smaller than that of the first processed surface by irradiating at least a part of the first processed surface with a nanosecond laser.
METHOD FOR FREQUENCY TUNING A SET OF PLATES OF A WATCH, AND WATCH COMPRISING THE SET OF TUNED PLATES
A method for frequency tuning a set of plates of a watch. The plates are disposed one above the other forming a watch dial with a space defined between the plates. A mechanical shock to the set of plates is generated, and the vibration frequency of each plate is checked. The vibration frequency of at least one of the plates is matched if different from the other plate so as to obtain an identical vibration frequency for each plate in order to tune the plates at least according to the first vibration eigenmode so as to avoid any contact between the plates as a result of any mechanical shock.
External component made of composite material and method for manufacturing the same
A method for manufacturing an external component for horology or jewellery made of a composite material including a reinforcement formed of a preferably perforated structure and a matrix composed of a synthetic material, the method including the successive steps consisting in: a) making a 3D file of the reinforcement, b) forming the reinforcement by additive manufacturing, c) embedding all or part of the reinforcement in the synthetic material. An external component for horology or jewellery can be made of a composite material including a matrix composed of a synthetic material and a reinforcement having a perforated structure obtained by additive manufacturing.
PINION SHAFT, WATCH MECHANISM, WATCH OR MEASUREMENT DEVICE WITHOUT A MAGNETIC SIGNATURE
A mechanical watch or measurement instrument having metallic parts, wherein each part of the mechanical watch mechanism has a relative magnetic permeability of less than 1.01.
Method for manufacturing watch component
A method for manufacturing a watch component is a method for manufacturing a watch component formed of austenitized ferritic stainless steel including a base formed of a ferrite phase and a surfacing layer formed of an austenitized phase in which the ferrite phase is austenitized, the method including a first processing step for forming a hole portion or a recessed portion at a base material formed of ferrite stainless steel, a heat treatment step for performing a nitrogen absorption treatment on the base material to form the surfacing layer at a surface side of the base, and a second processing step for cutting a surfacing layer corresponding to the hole portion or the recessed portion to form the watch component.
TIMEPIECE FITTING
A fitting (20) for holding a flat component (1), including radial support stops (2; 3), and a chamber (40) bordered by jaws (21; 22) including clamping surfaces (310; 320) for holding the component (1), open on one side by a recess (41; 42) to perform an operation on the component (1), this fitting (20) is deformable between an open position and a closed position around the component (1) tightened by said jaws (21; 22) subjected to a closing force exerted by manoeuvring means arranged to bring these jaws (21; 22) closer to each other.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN EPILAME MECHANICAL PART
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an epilame mechanical part (2) comprising a substrate (4) made of a first material, the method comprising at least:
a step (10) of depositing an epilame product (6) consisting of a second material on the substrate (4), said deposition being carried out in the form of a projection onto the substrate (4) of at least one collimated or localised beam (12; 12A, 12B) of material containing the epilame product (6); and
a step (11) of treating the second material to ensure the cohesion of the components on the substrate (4).
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SILICON-BASED TIMEPIECE COMPONENT
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a horological component according to which a silicon-based piece having the desired shape of the horological component is produced and the piece is subjected to a thermal oxidation and deoxidation treatment to remove a predetermined thickness of silicon in order to increase the mechanical strength of the piece. This method is characterized in that the thermal oxidation and deoxidation treatment is carried out in several steps, each step including a thermal oxidation phase followed by a deoxidation phase.
