ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a housing sidewall defining an opening and a display component, such as a display cover, disposed in the opening to form a gap between the housing sidewall and the display component. In at least one example, the cavity is defined by the sidewall and the display cover with the cavity in fluid communication with an external environment through the gap. In at least one example, an epoxy component at least partially defines the cavity and can be in direct contact with the housing sidewall.
Device for controlling a timepiece
A timepiece incudes a crown (4) housed in a cavity (10) provided in the case and open towards the outside, such as a cavity (10) in the side wall of the case (1) of a wristwatch, in the rest position of the crown (4). To bring the crown out of its rest position, the user rotates a rotary knurling-roller (5). The knurling-roller (5) is coupled to a tube (15) wherein is inserted a crown body (18) integral with the crown. The rotation of the knurling-roller actuates rotation as well as translation of the tube, which is linked only in translation to said cylinder (18). The tube displaces the crown in an axial direction without rotating the crown around its central axis (6). At least one control position of the crown and the rod can be reached, by rotating the knurling-roller (5) without having to manually pull the crown outwards.
WATCH WITH COMBINATION LOCK PROTECTION
The invention relates to watches. According to the invention, the watch comprises a case with a removable cover and a clock mechanism installed in the case, including a setting/winding mechanism. The watch is equipped with a combination lock used to block the setting/winding mechanism and block removing the cover from the case to prevent unauthorized use of the watch. The invention allows increasing the safety of using the watch due to the combination lock installed therein to block the setting/winding mechanism and block removing the cover from the case to prevent unauthorized use of the watch.
Push In Watch Crown Mechanism
A push in watch crown mechanism which allows a watch crown to be positioned inside the watch case while allowing the function of being released outside of the watch case to adjust the time of the watch. The watch crown mechanism is comprised of the watch crown, a spring used to release said watch crown out of the watch case, a release mechanism and a locking mechanism. The purpose of this push in watch crown mechanism is to allow the watch crown to sit completely flush inside the watch case, eliminating the watch crown from digging into the user's wrist while wearing the watch. This push in watch crown mechanism solves the common problem of the standard protruding watch crown causing discomfort and irritation to the user's wrist, and creates a more unique and comfortable watch to wear on the wrist.
Screw-down orientable crown
A screw-down orientable crown (200) for watch case (100), including a tube (11) that can be axially inserted into a case housing (90), and a handling body (1) including a pattern (19) and a relief (15) extending axially and, in the coupled position, cooperating for indexing the pattern (19) relative to the case (100) with a complementary relief (55) that a fixed pipe (5) includes which is pushed back from the body (1) by a spring (12), and including an axial stop (3) fixed to the body (1) to axially trap the fixed pipe (5) with a stroke corresponding to the deformation of the spring (12) to enable the disconnection, by a compression of the body (1), between the relief (15) and the complementary relief (55), which relief (15) is carried by a trunnion (4) integral with the body (1) and which is inside the fixed pipe (5).
Water resistant watch
A watch includes: a crown including a head portion and a shaft portion; a stem pipe including a first surface that includes an insertion hole through which the shaft portion is inserted and has a distance from a surface of the shaft portion as a first distance in cross-sectional view, and a second surface that is provided at a position closer to an end portion of the insertion hole than the first surface and has a distance from the surface of the shaft portion as a second distance larger than the first distance; a packing disposed between the surface of the shaft portion and the first surface; and a metal ring that is disposed between the surface of the shaft portion and the second surface and is in contact with the packing.
HOROLOGICAL CONTROL DEVICE
A control device (2) mounted in an opening (20) in a middle (16) and including a support (14) and a rotatable part, which has a shaft (12), a gripping member (4) and a control member (6) forming a rotation sensor (26). The sensor includes a magnetic detector provided inside the watch case in a radial peripheral region of the control member. On a first side of a circular opening (22), the support has a cavity (24) which is open in the axial direction. The cavity is configured to house the control member fixedly mounted on the shaft, such that this control member can be momentarily retracted, at least for the most part, into the cavity following an axial movement of the shaft into a position in which the magnetic detector is mounted inside the watch case.
Locking system for a control element of a timepiece
A watch case having a locking system for at least one control element of a timepiece, the locking system including a manipulable element, a locking element for the at least one control element, and a kinematic link linking the manipulable element to the locking element, the locking system being arranged on the outside of a chamber (63), more particularly on the outside of a water-resistant chamber, defined by the case, the locking element being rotatably mounted, more particularly rotatably mounted about a second axis (A1) of the at least one control element.
Watch equipped with a device for locking an external control unit
A watch including a case (6) having a push-piece (8), movable in a radial direction, and a device (14) for locking the push-piece. The locking device includes a locking member (16) rotatably mounted about a central axis of the case and arranged to be actuated between a locking position, wherein the push-piece is stopped or blocked by the locking device so that the function cannot be activated by actuation of the control member, and an unlocking position wherein the push-piece is released and can then be actuated in said radial direction to allow the function to be activated. A rotating bezel (20) and the locking member are coaxial arranged so that they can each be rotatably actuated by the user independently of each other. Thus, the rotating bezel is independent of the locking function and can thus be dedicated to the chronograph mechanism and be in particular useful for diving.
