A watch glass includes a first glass, a second glass and a decorative element. The second glass is connected to the first glass via a connecting intermediate layer. The decorative element is inserted in a setting, which is arranged in a watch glass recess. The watch glass recess is formed by a first recess in the first glass and a second recess in the second glass. Here, a space of the watch glass recess is defined by the first glass, the second glass and the setting. The space is filled with connecting material of the connecting intermediate layer, so that the setting is connected via the connecting material to the first class and the second glass.

METHOD FOR STRUCTURING A DECORATIVE OF TECHNICAL PATTERN IN AN OBJECT MADE OF AN AT LEAST PARTIALLY TRANSPARENT AMORPHOUS, SEMI-CRYSTALLINE OR CRYSTALLINE MATERIAL

A method for structuring a decorative or technical pattern in the thickness of an object made of an at least partially transparent amorphous, semi-crystalline or crystalline material, wherein the object is made of an at least partially transparent material including a top surface and a bottom surface which extends away from the top surface. The top or bottom surfaces is provided with a mask defining an opening whose outline corresponds to the profile of the pattern to be structured, the mask covering the top or bottom surface at the positions which are not to be structured. The pattern is structured with a mono- or multicharged ion beam through the opening of the mask, wherein the mechanical properties of the mask are sufficient to prevent the ions of the ion beam from etching the top or bottom surface at the positions where this top or bottom surface is covered by the mask.

WATCH COMPRISING A SOLAR CELL

A watch including a gasket (18) arranged at the periphery of the glass (14), an intermediate portion (20) laterally surrounding the analogue display and defining a radial surface forming an axial stop for the glass, a solar cell (30) extending at least mostly between the lower level of the dial and the glass and being arranged behind the intermediate portion, which is formed at least partially by a translucent or transparent material and configured to make it possible for the incident light to propagate in the intermediate portion and to subsequently reach the solar cell. The gasket is also formed at least mostly by a translucent or transparent material and it forms with the intermediate portion axially a continuous medium. In variants, the gasket is arranged axially adjacent to the intermediate portion or it is axially separated from the intermediate portion by a translucent or transparent intermediate medium.

A skeleton watch includes a horological movement housed in a watch case, the horological movement being arranged to rotate at least one hand, the horological movement being covered by a dial, and the dial being disposed between the horological movement and the at least one hand. The dial includes a photochromic plate so that the horological movement is visible when the photochromic plate is exposed to an amount of UV radiation below a first threshold value and the horological movement is masked when the photochromic plate is exposed to an amount of UV radiation above a second threshold value.

A watch glass includes a first glass, second glass and a decorative element, in particular a gemstone. Here, the first glass and the second glass are connected to one another via a connecting intermediate layer. The first glass comprises a continuous recess. The decorative element comprises a base region, which is arranged settingless in the recess of the first glass and in direct contact with the connecting intermediate layer. Further, the invention relates to a watch with such a watch glass.
