The first material being integral with the second material and the timepiece also includes at least one light source (10) producing light which passes through the second portion made of a partially transparent or translucent ceramic material comprising zirconia.
TIMEPIECE WITH LOCALISED ILLUMINATION
The invention relates to a timepiece including, in addition to a crystal (34), the following external elements: a back (2), a middle (1), a dial (3) and two bracelet strands (30), at least one of these external elements comprising at least one part made of an at least partially transparent or translucent ceramic material, the timepiece further including at least two point light sources (10) releasing heat, each light source (10) being capable of being separately switched on/off and being disposed in or directly beneath said at least one external element comprising the ceramic material, each light source (10) producing light that passes through the ceramic material of said external element, and wherein each light source (10) is configured to produce localised light on a point or quasi-point area (40) of the ceramic material of the external element concerned, so as to produce localised illumination on said external element.
WATCH CASE COMPRISING AN EXTERNAL PART COMPONENT WHEREON A STACK OF THIN LAYERS IS DEPOSITED
A watch case (10) comprising a middle (11) to which a crystal (12) and a back (13) are fastened so as to form an internal volume, the watch case (10) including, in the internal volume, an external part component (14) whereon a stack of thin layers (15) comprising a substrate layer (150), a solid-state phase switching layer (151) inserted between a transparent encapsulation layer (152) and a spacing layer (153) separating the phase switching layer (151) from the substrate layer (150) is deposited, the phase switching layer (151) being configured so as to have a refractive index capable of varying under exposure from light rays so as to impart to the stack of thin layers (15) at least two interferential colours.
Watch component and watch
A watch component includes an austenized ferritic stainless steel including a base including a ferrite phase, a surface layer formed on a surface of the base, the surface layer including an austenized phase, and a mixed layer formed between the base and the surface layer, the mixed layer being a layer in which the ferrite phase and the austenized phase are mixed. In a cross section taken along a depth direction from the surface, a thickness of the mixed layer is 45% or less of a thickness of the surface layer.
Composite timepiece or jewellery component with protection for the substrate and its decoration
A method for fabricating a composite timepiece or jewellery component: a base is made in a substrate with an apparent surface remaining visible; each visible apparent surface is mirror polished; each polished apparent surface is coated with a first transparent or coloured semi-transparent layer of a first material in a dry process, or PVD or CVD or ALD process, or lacquering or zapon varnish process; a decorative element is affixed and bonded to an external surface of the first layer; the first layer and each decorative element is coated with a second layer of a transparent treatment material in a dry process, or PVD or CVD or ALD process, or lacquering or zapon varnish process.
Watch component and watch
A watch component includes a metal material obtained by performing a nitrogen absorption treatment on a base material, the base material being a ferritic stainless steel that contains, by mass %, 18 to 22% of Cr, 1.3 to 2.8% of Mo, 0.05 to 0.50% of Nb, less than 0.5% of Ni, less than 0.8% of Mn, less than 0.5% of Si, less than 0.10% of P, less than 0.05% of S, less than 0.05% of N, and less than 0.05% of C, with a remainder thereof being composed of Fe and an unavoidable impurity.
Process for the selective decoration of a timepiece component
A process for manufacturing a timepiece or jewellery component, the component being manufactured from a first material, the process including: obtaining the component, having undergone, at a very latest during the obtaining, a treatment directed toward combining the component with a chromic element, the chromic element including at least one pigment capable of reacting to an energy supply and a matrix for binding the pigment; placing the component in a machine capable of at least locally supplying energy to the component; using the energy supply machine in a predefined operating program at least locally to provide energy to the chromic element to bring about a reaction of its pigment; removing the component from the energy supply machine.
COLOURED TIMEPIECE COMPONENT
The present invention relates to a timepiece component comprising on at least one part of its surface a coating formed of one or more layers of organic pigments.
