Stone setting method
A method for assembling a stone on a setting support, the stone being cut to exhibit a table, a crown, a girdle and a pavilion, including the steps of: providing a substrate coated with a pattern including an electrically conductive layer covered with a resin layer, the pattern having an inner contour delimiting a hole through the coated substrate and an outer contour corresponding to the outer contour of the desired setting support; removing the resin layer; after dissolution of the resin layer, positioning the stone in the through hole, the stone resting on the electrically conductive layer; and electrodepositing a metal layer on the electrically conductive layer to form the setting support, in order to make the stone integral with the metal layer.
Composite component for horology or jewellery with a ceramic structure and inserts
A method for fabricating a composite component for horology or jewellery including making a base from a first material, with a first visible apparent surface, and a first support surface; a structure from a second ceramic, or sapphire or at least partially amorphous material, with a second apparent surface and a second support surface, including a through bore machined over the entire thickness thereof; at least one insert made of a third material, for each through bore, and arranged to fit together in a complementary manner with this through bore; bonding this base and each structure to each other, with each first support surface and each second complementary support surface bearing against one another; securing each insert with its respective through bore.
WATCH GLASS COMPRISING A DECORATIVE ELEMENT
A watch glass includes a first glass, a second glass and a decorative element. The second glass is connected to the first glass via a connecting intermediate layer. The decorative element is inserted in a setting, which is arranged in a watch glass recess. The watch glass recess is formed by a first recess in the first glass and a second recess in the second glass. Here, a space of the watch glass recess is defined by the first glass, the second glass and the setting. The space is filled with connecting material of the connecting intermediate layer, so that the setting is connected via the connecting material to the first class and the second glass.
Timepiece part, and method for producing such a timepiece part
A timepiece (1) having at least one colored transparent stone (10), and a support (20) with at least one opening (200) for receiving this colored transparent stone (10). The ratio between the height (h) and width (L) of the colored transparent stone (10) is less than 50% , and the support (20) is made from anodised titanium or anodised aluminium. Advantageously, the color of the colored transparent stone (10) in the timepiece (1) is enhanced by that of the support (20).
METHOD FOR DEPOSITING A RARE MATERIAL IN A THIN LAYER ON AN HOROLOGICAL OR JEWELLERY EXTERNAL PART AND EXTERNAL PART OBTAINED BY THIS METHOD
A method for depositing a rare material in a thin layer at the surface of an horological or jewellery external part includes providing a rough part of rare material, shaping the rough part of rare material so that it is adapted to be used as a target part for a PVD method, depositing material of the target part at the surface of a substrate consisting of an horological or jewellery eternal part by a PVD method so as to cover the external part.
Decorative piece produced by setting
A decorative piece includes a support made of a material having no usable plastic deformation in which at least one hollow is arranged. The hollow is filled with a first material forming a substrate in which at least one housing is arranged. The housing is arranged so that at least one aesthetic element is housable therein. The substrate further includes a gripper elastically deforming to retain the aesthetic element in the housing. The gripper further includes at least one setting element. A method for setting an aesthetic element on a support includes taking a support provided with at least one hollow, taking at least one aesthetic element, filling the hollow with a first material, making a setting hole and a gripper in the first material, and setting the aesthetic element by placing it in the hole and by deforming the gripper so as to retain the aesthetic element.
Watch
A watch is a watch including a watch case, a cover glass attached to the watch case, and a decorative body attached to the watch case, wherein the watch case includes a holding wall portion provided along an outer periphery of the cover glass, a first column portion provided outside the holding wall portion, a second column portion provided outside the holding wall portion, and provided at a distance from the first column portion, and an inclined portion including an inner end portion formed from between the first and second column portions to the holding wall portion, and is connected with the holding wall portion, and an outer end portion is connected with an outer surface of the watch case and provided at a position close to a rear surface of the watch case, and the decorative body is held by the holding wall portion, the first, and second column portions.
Jewellery piece comprising a mechanism for animating an object
Portable jewellery piece comprising a mechanism for animating an object, said mechanism comprising: —a motive source arranged to drive a transmission; —a regulating system arranged to regulate the speed of rotation of said transmission; —a support system bearing an object that is intended to be animated according to a rotation about a first axis of rotation under the effect of said motive source via a power take-off forming part of said transmission. According to the invention, said support system comprises a first frame that is mounted so as to be able to pivot on a frame element about said first axis of rotation, and an inner frame that is mounted so as to be able to pivot in said first frame about a second pivot axis that is substantially orthogonal with respect to said first pivot axis, said object being moreover arranged so as to be driven by an eccentric driving element that is secured in rotation with a driving wheel arranged to be driven by said power take-off.
DIAL FOR TIMEPIECES
A dial for a timepiece, preferably a watch, the dial being provided with a relief portion which is made as an assembly of pieces on different levels, juxtaposed on a base, such that the relief portion is formed by the upper surfaces of the pieces. A method for manufacturing the dial with several separate pieces, the upper surfaces of the pieces being subjected to a polishing step and/or possibly an enameling step. The pieces are then cut along a defined contour and then assembled edge-to-edge on a base, so as to create the relief portion.
