The first button 12 includes a first button head 13 disposed in the first guide protector 11, and a first button shaft 15 passing through a first through hole 14 of the wristwatch case 1. The first button head 13 is inclined obliquely upward relative to the lateral face of the wristwatch case 1. The first guide protector 11 protects the outer periphery of the first button head 13, and this prevents accidental and erroneous operation of the first button 12. The first button head 13 is inclined obliquely upward relative to the lateral face of the wristwatch case 1, and this allows the user to easily place a fingertip on the outer end face of the first button head 13, and so improves the operability of the first button 12.

The system includes at least one emissive display element and at least one non-emissive display element. The display elements are arrayed in layers or other configurations such that content or other information is concurrently aligned across the respective display surfaces of the different elements. A first set of content is rendered using the non-emissive display element while a second set of content is rendered using the emissive display element. Depending on characteristics or features of a given content item, that item may be rendered by one or both of the display elements. Certain content may be transitioned from the emissive display element to the non-emissive display element according to a time threshold or other criteria.

SMART WATCH WITH CONTROL DIAL

The smart watch with a control dial includes a watch body having a display on a top side and a control circuit inside the watch body, and a control dial electrically connected to the control circuit. The control dial has a portion of its circumference exposed from a lateral side of the watch body, and, when the control dial is turned, the control circuit detects the movement of the control dial and adjusts correspondingly the content shown on the display. The physical movement provided by the control dial effectively prevents the problem of operating the touch screen of the smart watch when the touch screen is stained.

A screen generation method that causes an information processing apparatus to generate an image of a timepiece includes: acquiring component information relating to a component in which a position of at least one portion or displayed information provided on a board surface of the timepiece can change, and placement information indicating a position of the component on the board surface of the timepiece; specifying, based on the placement information, a placement position in a case of placing a component image corresponding to the component information on the image of the timepiece; and generating, based on the specified placement position, a board surface image for operation used in response to operating the timepiece from an external terminal.
