Method and system for authenticating a device
Method for authenticating a timepiece comprising measuring acoustic vibrations emitted by said timepiece to obtain an electrical signal indicating magnitude information comprising a variation of a magnitude of the measured acoustic vibrations as a function of time. The electrical signal comprises at least one specific tone associated with the presence of a quartz resonator in the timepiece. Method further comprises performing transform of electrical signal into frequency domain to obtain frequency-domain power spectrum indicating variation of power of electrical signal as function of frequency, processing the frequency-domain power spectrum so as to reveal at least one narrow peak in frequency-domain power spectrum corresponding to the at least one specific tone, and extracting at least one resonance frequency corresponding to said at least one narrow peak. Method further comprises comparing extracted at least one resonance frequency with at least one reference resonance frequency; and determining an authenticity of said timepiece.
Dynamic torque and/or force calibration device
A torque or force calibration device is for a unit intended to measure or to apply a torque or a force respectively. The device includes a first part, a second part, and at least one flexible element linking the first part to the second part. The second part is mounted to be mobile in rotation or in translation relative to the fixed first part. The device includes an abutment which limits the displacement of the second part and thereby sets the maximum torque or the maximum force of the calibration device.
METHOD FOR OPTIMISING AN OPERATION OF SETTING AND WINDING A WATCH, AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF SAME
A method for optimising an operation of setting and winding a watch or the timepiece movement thereof including initially making a measurement of the operation of the watch or of the timepiece movement followed by an activation of an operation of low-amplitude reciprocating movements of the watch or of the timepiece movement on said jig of the device, or initially implementing an activation of an operation of low-amplitude reciprocating movements of the watch or of the timepiece movement before making a measurement of the operation of the watch or of the timepiece movement, and resuming low-amplitude reciprocating movements in phase or a synchronisation step being implemented at the end of the first two steps. The first oscillating signal of movements includes a change in sign of the absolute rotation speed in each successive oscillation period, the oscillating signal having a positive part and a negative part of the operating speed.
DYNAMIC TORQUE AND/OR FORCE CALIBRATION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a torque or force calibration device for a unit intended to measure or to apply a torque or a force respectively, said device comprising a first part, a second part and at least one flexible element linking the first part to the second part, the second part being mounted to be mobile in rotation or in translation relative to the fixed first part, the device comprising an abutment which limits the displacement of the second part and thereby sets the maximum torque or the maximum force of the calibration device.
Device and method for testing a mechanical property of a timepiece shaft
The device (3) for testing a timepiece shaft (1) having at least one first pivot (10, 10) and an axis of rotation (A1), the device including a rest (2) having two supports (12, 12) intended to accommodate the timepiece shaft (1), at least one of the two supports (12) being intended to accommodate the at least one first pivot (10), an element (4; 4) for applying a mechanical force to the timepiece shaft, positioned such that this force is at least partially taken up by the support (12) at the at least one first pivot (10). The element (4; 4) for applying a mechanical force is arranged such that the timepiece shaft (1) is driven in rotation by a relative movement of the element (4; 4) for applying a mechanical force and the rest (2).
Method for checking the identity of a mechanical watch movement
The mechanical movement includes a checking device which is a passive indicator element. The passive element is fixed to a fixed support portion of the mechanical movement. The passive element may be a strip or a plate fixed to the fixed support portion of a regulating member and configured to vibrate according to one or more clearly defined vibration frequency components following the vibration of the mechanical movement. The vibration frequency components of the strip or plate define an acoustic signature specific to the timepiece to allow the authenticity of the timepiece to be determined by a measurement of the acoustic signature using an acoustic measuring system.
