WIRELESS PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL CHESS CLOCK
A wireless programmable digital chess clock having to a housing, a display mounted in the housing and operatively arranged to display time associated with a first player's clock and operatively arranged to display time associated with a second player's clock, a first switch mounted in the housing and operatively arranged to stop the first player's clock and start the second player's clock when activated; a second switch mounted in the housing and operatively arranged to stop the second player's clock and start the first player's clock when activated, a microcontroller operatively arranged to set and control the first and second players' clocks, and, a near field communication module, in communication with microcontroller, and operatively arranged to receive signals from an external transmitting device, where the signals are used to set the time on the first and second players' clocks.
Electronic device, timepiece, and control method
An electronic device including: a positioning module that performs positioning by receiving radio waves from navigation satellites; a movement distance detection sensor that detects movement distance; and a processor that activates the positioning module and, if positioning with the positioning module has not succeeded after a first prescribed period of time has elapsed, suspends the positioning module, wherein if the processor detects that the movement distance detected by the movement distance detection sensor starting from when the positioning module was suspended is greater than or equal to a prescribed distance, the processor reactivates the positioning module.
Multifunction sleep training device with remote locking mechanism and methods of operation thereof
A sleep training device is disclosed comprising certain electronic components, audio components, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), physical switches, a capacitive touch component, or a combination thereof. The sleep training device can have a housing configured to house the electronic components, the audio components, the LEDs, the capacitive touch component, and at least part of the physical switches. The sleep training device can receive an instruction to schedule a sleep program based on a set parameter from another device in wireless communication with the sleep training device, initiate the sleep program once the set parameter is met, and disable at least one of the physical switches and the capacitive touch component when the sleep program is initiated.

Programmable timer outlet
A switched power receptacle that can be programmed to provide power for a user-selected duration in a user-selected cycle. The invention can be plugged into a conventional receptacle, extension cord, or other source of power. One or more user inputs and displays are provided so that the user can program the cycle for switching on the power (once every 2 days, once every 7 days, etc.). One or more user inputs are provided so that the user can select the duration of activation for each cycle (1 hour, 3 hours, etc.). Status indicators are preferably provided so that the user can easily monitor the operation of the device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, TIMEPIECE, AND CONTROL METHOD
An electronic device including: a positioning module that performs positioning by receiving radio waves from navigation satellites; a movement distance detection sensor that detects movement distance; and a processor that turns on power of the positioning module and, if positioning with the positioning module has not succeeded after a first prescribed period of time has elapsed, turns off power of the positioning module, wherein if the processor detects that the movement distance detected by the movement distance detection sensor starting from when the positioning module was turned off is greater than or equal to a prescribed distance, the processor turns on power of the positioning module.
TIMER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAID TIMER DEVICE
A timer device comprising a first timer in communication with control means, the control means being in communication with an external component and the first timer sending an order to the control means after a first preset time period is counted by the first timer, the timer device also comprising a second timer in communication with the control means, the second timer counting a second preset time period that is a portion of the first preset time period. The timer device permits an accurate operation, even with changes of temperature and voltage, and with a reduced cost.
Dental Care Timer
This present invention relates to a dental care timer that informs both children and adults to brush their teeth for a minimum period of time, preferably two minutes. The dental care timer is preferably comprised of a stylish housing with a mounting or supporting structure. The front of the housing features a display for a countdown timer, a power button, and a speaker. An internal battery powers the dental care timer and its various components, and the timer device is capable of communicating with a user's smart device, such as a smart phone, smart watch, tablet or the like. Upon the conclusion of an appropriate brushing session, the dental care timer will emit an audible signal to the user.
Medicine Bottle Timer Lid
A medicine bottle timer lid. The medicine bottle timer lid includes a housing removably securable to a medicine bottle having a display operably connected to a timer. The housing further includes a battery and a sensor disposed therein. The sensor is configured to detect the position of the housing with respect to the medicine bottle. The timer is configured to begin counting when the housing is secured to the medicine bottle, and the display shows the amount of time that has elapsed since the housing was secured to the medicine bottle. The timer is further configured to reset upon removal of the housing from the medicine bottle. The medicine bottle timer lid allows individuals to automatically keep track of their medication.
