ALARM CLOCK
20220413445 · 2022-12-29 ·

An alarm clock includes a microcontroller, a display unit, an audio output unit, ten numeric keys and a functional key. Upon determining that a long-press operation is performed on one of the numeric keys that corresponds to a weekly alarm setting, the microcontroller performs a weekly alarm setting procedure for the corresponding weekly alarm setting. In the weekly alarm setting procedure, the microcontroller sets an alarm time based on some numeric keys that are pressed in a time-setting stage, and sets an alarm day based on at least one numeric key and the functional key that are pressed in a day-setting stage. Then, the microcontroller displays the alarm, time and the alarm day on the display unit.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION CONTROL CENTER DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
20230032792 · 2023-02-02 · ·

The present invention discloses an information processing method, an information control center device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining semantic parsing information corresponding to a sound signal, the semantic parsing information including a designated time; performing a time prediction on the designated time based on a current time to determine an intended time; and generating a target instruction corresponding to the sound signal based on the intended time. With this method, the information control center device can process complex and diverse sound signals, and the designated time and target intention in a sound signal can be extracted from the semantic parsing information. Because of the time prediction on the semantic parsing information with the designated time, the designated time provided in the sound signal can be processed more accurately, and the voice interaction process is more accurate.

Audible wrist watch assembly

An audible wrist watch assembly includes a wrist watch that is wearable on a user's wrist. An audio unit is coupled to the wrist watch and the audio unit emits a plurality of time alerts. The audio unit emits each of the time alerts upon the respective hour of the day to audibly communicate the hour of the day to a visually impaired user. A reminder unit is coupled to the wrist watch and the reminder unit stores a plurality of verbal reminders. Each of the verbal reminders is programmable to correspond to a respective hour of the day. Moreover, the reminder unit audibly emits each of the verbal reminders at the respective hour of the day to remind the user to perform a task at a certain time.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A WEARABLE MONITORING DEVICE
20230083251 · 2023-03-16 ·

The present disclosure is directed at a system that comprises at least one detection based unit configured to detect a decibel level associated with at least one space in a building and generate an alert when a predetermined decibel level is detected and wirelessly transmit that alert to a client device via a main base unit.

CONFIGURABLE WAKE UP ALARM USING PHYSIOLOGICAL MONITORING

A controllable window of time is provided for waking a user from sleep. A system uses this window to variably control the acquisition of physiological data from a device such as a wearable monitor, such as by initiating data acquisition at the beginning of the window, and the acquired data can be used in turn to control when, during the window, an active alarm to the user might be provided. Using this technique, data acquisition from a physiological monitoring device or the like can be increased around the onset of the window to more accurately calculate a suitable waking time for the user within the window. This advantageously avoids the need for continuous, high-frequency data communications during long intervals of sleep, and focuses data transmission, related communications, and computing resources on those intervals when up-to-date data might be most useful for optimizing the user's wake up experience.

AN ALARM APPARATUS
20170351224 · 2017-12-07 · ·

An alarm apparatus, in particular an alarm apparatus having at least two separate parts, includes an alarm unit and a user portion for generating a localized alert. The user portion has an attachment means for attaching the user portion about or onto a part of the user's body. The user portion includes a lock which in use is adapted to lock the user portion about or onto a part of the user's body. The alarm unit and user portion in use are located apart one from another and the lock is adapted to unlock upon presentation of the user portion to the alarm unit.

SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

Estimating unit estimates an alarm notification time. Presenting unit presents the estimated alarm notification time to a user. Setting unit sets an alarm notification time based on a user's operation performed relative to the presentation of the estimated alarm notification time. When doing so, setting unit, on detecting that presenting unit has not presented the estimated alarm notification time by a predetermined point in time prior to the estimated alarm notification time, sets the alarm notification time in the absence of a user's operation. Notification unit activates an alarm at the set notification time notified by setting unit.

Method and apparatus for using water to disable an alarm clock

An alarm clock device is provided that includes a cup portion and a component housing. The component housing is coupled to a lower edge of the cup portion. The component housing includes a circuit board, a micro controller mounted on the circuit board, an orientation sensing component in communication with the micro controller and detecting movement of the alarm apparatus, and a speaker in communication with the micro controller emitting an audible alarm at a time designated by a user. A light ring is in communication with the micro controller and coupled to the alarm clock device between the cup portion and the component housing. The light ring illuminates the cup portion at the time designated by the user.

Alarm clock with charging ports

An alarm clock is provided that has a housing, one or more charging ports, an audio transducer, an alarm control device, a display, and a controller. The charging ports are mounted in a surface of the housing and provide power from a power supply to an external device. The controller receives input signals from the alarm control device and sends output signals to the audio transducer and the display. When the controller receives input signals from the alarm control device, it responds by displaying and setting a desired alarm time on the display, and by arming an alarm function. While the alarm function is armed, if a current time matches the alarm time, the controller causes the audio transducer to emit an alarm sound. When the controller receives another input signal from the alarm control device, it responds by taking the alarm time off the display, disarming the alarm function, and, if the alarm sound is being emitted, quieting the alarm sound. The alarm function remains disarmed until the controller receives yet another input signal from the alarm control device, and in response rearms the alarm function.
