Timer for monitoring lapse of time relative to a total amount of allowed time
A timer to monitor lapse of time relative to a total amount of allowed time includes: a body and a foot on or of the body, a sensor; a processor connected to the sensor and configured to monitor a lapse of time; and an output device connected to the processor. The processor is configured to control the output device to generate a signal at least indicating the monitored, lapsed time relative to the total amount of allowed time. The sensor is configured to indicate whether the timer rests on the foot; and the processor is configured to monitor the lapse of time, during which it is indicated by the sensor that the timer rests on the foot, and stop or pause to monitor the lapse of time, when the timer rests not or not only on the foot. The processor is configured to control the output device.
HOLOGRAPH-PROJECTING WATCH DEVICES AND METHODS THEREIN
The present invention discloses devices for projecting holographic content from a watch and methods therein. Devices include: a watch base for housing the watch; an opaque watch face attached to the base; a transparent watch cover for protecting the face; a light wand having a series of controllable light-emitting elements configured to project the holographic content, wherein the series is disposed on the wand such that light emitted from the elements is projected primarily toward the cover, the wand is disposed: mostly parallel to the surfaces of the face and cover; and between the face and cover with a spacing greater than about 40% of a face/cover gap adapted to produce suitable, projected holographic content free from distortion caused by the proximity of the face to the wand; and a spinning axis for mounting the wand, configured for rotating in order to spin the wand for projecting the holographic content.
Clock with lighting elements
A visual time clock comprises a set of vertically stacked or adjacent chambers, each of the at least two chambers having interior-located, connected LED strips which are electronically controlled and selectively powered by being turned on or off or dimmed or brightened as time passes. Each chamber is meant to visually show an amount of elapsed time, e.g., seconds, minutes, hours and days (and years and century, if desired). When one chamber visually fills with the timed illumination of the LEDs, it will void and reset its LEDs and simultaneously illuminate one or more of the LEDs of the adjacent chamber.
TIMER FOR MONITORING LAPSE OF TIME RELATIVE TO A TOTAL AMOUNT OF ALLOWED TIME
The present disclosure relates to a timer to monitor lapse of time relative to a total amount of allowed time, comprising: a body and a foot on or of the body, wherein the apparatus can rest on at least the foot; a sensor; a processor connected to the sensor and configured to monitor lapse of time; and an output device connected to the processor, wherein the processor is configured to control the output device to generate a signal at least indicating monitored, lapsed time relative to the total amount of allowed time; characterized in that the sensor is configured to indicate whether the timer rests on the foot; and the processor is configured to monitor lapse of time, during which it is indicated by the sensor that the timer rests on the foot, and stop or pause to monitor lapse of time, when the timer rests not or not only on the foot; and the processor is configured to control the output device to generate a signal at least indicating monitored, lapsed time, during which the timer rests on the foot, relative to the total amount of allowed time; wherein the total amount of allowed time is at least a portion of a calendar unit of time, such as an hour, morning, afternoon, evening, entire day or night, week, month or year, and the processor is configured to reset the total amount of allowed time only upon lapse of the calendar unit of time.
Clock with Lighting Elements
Disclosed is a device for measuring and indicating time with light. The device includes an elongated housing member with at least one chamber having a defined volume for lighting elements embedded therein. Each chamber is configured to represent a different unit of time such that a first chamber represents a first unit of time and the next adjacent chamber represents a next or a previous unit of time. The lighting elements illuminate each chamber based at least partially on the unit of time such that the rate in which each chamber illuminate can differ.
Time display, method of presenting time information and timekeeping devices
A timepiece, time display, and method of presenting time information. The timepiece includes clock means for measuring the passage of time in standard units, and maintaining a current value. A visual display is included for displaying one of the standard units of the current value at a time. The time piece further comprises means for selecting one of the standard units and presenting the selected unit of the current value on the visual display. The current value is represented by the position of an indicator within a defined space on the visual display.
User interface for a multi-purpose band
A method and apparatus to provide a user interface for a multi-purpose band is described. The user interface includes two shapes, in one embodiment, each shape made up of a plurality of LEDs or other light sources. Multiple types of information may be provided to the user through the lights, including activity statistics, sleep statistics, and current time.
Mother-of-pearl dial for a hidden display
A display assembly including a display including a light source and a semi-transparent element for showing the display only when the display is activated, wherein the semi-transparent element includes a mother-of-pearl dial under which is disposed a semi-reflective element.
Wearable electronic device with hand synchronization
A wearable electronic device having an analog display and a digital display. The device may include a receiver for receiving, from a remote source, current time information data representative of a current time; a controller, operatively coupled to the receiver, wherein the controller processes the current time information data received from the remote source and provides for the current time information data to be displayed by the at least one digital indicator on the digital display as the current time; and a an analog time indicator rotating arrangement for causing the rotation of the at least one analog time indicator until the at least one analog time indicator is aligned with the at least one digital indicator; whereby the alignment of the at least one analog time indicator with the at least one digital indicator indicates that the at least one analog time indicator is synchronized with the correct time information.
