20220006269 · 2022-01-06 · ·

A method for operating a power distributor, having a first controller, and having a plurality of connected connection modules, each having a base resistor, which form a resistor chain connected in series, which chain is supplied by means of a DC source of the first controller and is guided against a reference potential. Each connection module has a supply connector and a bus connector of a common bus system, which is signal-connected to the first controller. The connection modules are equipped with a circuit breaker, each having a second controller for detecting the electrical voltage dropping at the associated base resistor and a switch element operable by the respective second controller, which element is connected between the side of the associated base resistor facing away from the first controller and the reference potential, and which is signal-connected with the associated bus connector and energized by means of the supply connector.

Power distributor

A power distributor having a first controller and having a number of connection modules which are connected thereto and are intended to be mounted on a supporting rail. The connection module has a number of lateral coupling contacts for the electrical and/or signalling contact connection to at least one further connection module which is attached or can be attached to the particular connection module, wherein a base resistor is connected in each case between two coupling contacts inside the module in such a manner that the base resistors of the attached connection modules form a resistor chain which is connected in series. The connection modules are each equipped or can be equipped with an actuatable circuit breaker. The circuit breakers have a second controller inside the circuit breaker for recording a voltage dropped across the respectively associated base resistor.

Training DNN by updating an array using a chopper

Embodiments disclosed herein include a method of training a DNN. A processor initializes an element of an A matrix. The element may include a resistive processing unit. A processor determines incremental weight updates by updating the element with activation values and error values from a weight matrix multiplied by a chopper value. A processor reads an update voltage from the element. A processor determines a chopper product by multiplying the update voltage by the chopper value. A processor directs storage of an element of a hidden matrix. The element of the hidden matrix may include a summation of continuous iterations of the chopper product. A processor updates a corresponding element of a weight matrix based on the element of the hidden matrix reaching a threshold state.
