A technique for enabling reduction in user operations. A program generating apparatus includes a control distribution unit and a communication function adding unit. The control distribution unit allocates respective control blocks of a control model to controllers, based on the control model received by a control model input unit, and setting information and connection information received by a setting information input unit. The communication function adding unit adds, when first and second ones of the control blocks are connected to each other, a communication control block to a connected part between the first and second control blocks, the first and second control blocks being allocated to different ones of the controllers in the allocated control model.
Wireless architecture and support for process control systems
A wireless communication system for use in a process environment uses mesh and possibly a combination of mesh and point-to-point communications to produce a wireless communication network that can be easily set up, configured, changed and monitored, thereby making a wireless communication network that is less expensive, and more robust and reliable. The wireless communication system allows virtual communication paths to be established and used within the process control system in a manner that is independent of the manner in which the wireless signals are sent between different wireless transmitting and receiving devices within the process plant. Still further, communication analysis tools are provided to enable a user or operator to view the operation of the wireless communication network to thereby analyze the ongoing operation of the wireless communications within the wireless communication network.

A system and method of configuring HVAC components in an HVAC system including a main system controller in operable communication with at least one auxiliary controller, wherein the main system controller and each of the at least one auxiliary controllers include a near field communication interface. The HVAC system components are configured by placing each of the at least one auxiliary controllers in close proximity to the main system controller, and operating the main system controller to initiate a pairing event.
