Systems and methods for a disconnect switch assembly having a reversible fuse support block

A reversible fuse support block includes a molding, a terminal, and a fuser interface. The molding may be installed within a housing in a first position and a second position, wherein the second position is rotated 180 degrees relative to the first position. The terminal couples to the molding and includes a plurality of apertures disposed in a pattern. The fuse interface receives a first end of a fuse. The fuse interface couples to the terminal in a first arrangement and a second arrangement such that when the fuse interface is installed in the first arrangement and the molding is installed in the first position, the fuse interface is disposed in substantially the same position relative to a corresponding fuse interface on a fuse support block as when the fuse interface is installed in the second arrangement and the molding is installed in the second position.

Transmission of diagnostic and/or parameter data between a control module and an input/output module

Illustrated is an I/O module which is configured for cyclically transmitting and receiving telegrams, wherein an area in which a data record can be transmitted in its entirety is provided in the telegrams, as well as an area capable of containing only a part of a data record, so that said data record is transmitted, distributed over several telegrams.

A modular tabletop apparatus, typically used for workpiece storage and handling during robotic manipulation and feeding to a machine, is disclosed. Modules of the apparatus comprise detection interfaces disposed at locations corresponding to module edge locations and arranged in a periodic grid. Alignment of facing detection interfaces along common edges of pairs of adjacent modules permits module controllers to detect neighboring modules, and a main controller to compute the overall size and shape of the tabletop formed by the modules. Connecting arrangements are also disclosed. The connecting arrangements may be placed at the same grid locations as the detection interfaces, advantageously permitting alignment of detection interfaces for any interconnection configuration of modules. Modules may comprise plates with a grid of positioning indentations. The period of the positioning grid can be an integer multiple or integer fraction of that of the interface/connection grid.

Method and apparatus for configuring I/O modules connected to a fieldbus controller

A method of determining a configuration state of an I/O module connected to a fieldbus controller is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of receiving from the I/O module a key ID, comparing the key ID with at least one key ID stored on the fieldbus controller, and configuring the I/O module when the received key ID does not correspond to the at least one stored key ID stored. Further, a circuit for configuring a digital input of a fieldbus controller as either a PNP input or an NPN input is provided comprising a control circuit including a reference input, a first selection input, and a control output. The circuit also comprises a data circuit including a second selection input electrically connected to the control output, a data input electrically coupled to the digital input, and a data output.
