A computer-implemented method includes receiving toolpath data for machining a workpiece with a tool along a toolpath. The tool is comprised by a machine tool that is numerically controlled by a control device. Machine code for the machine tool corresponding to the toolpath data is received. A map linking at least one item of the toolpath data and at least one item of the machine code corresponding to the least one item of the toolpath data is created. At least one first item of the toolpath data and one or more second items of the machine code corresponding to the at least one first item are displayed to a user using the created map. A control device and a machine tool arranged and configured to execute the computer-implemented method are also provided.

A control unit (22) controls a display device (30) to display a code of the control program (52) on a screen (54), and to display the value of the signal acquired by the acquisition unit (21), on a portion in the code of the control program (52) which corresponds to the signal, in a format that enables distinction of a state of the apparatus (60) of the time the value of the signal is outputted.

A control unit (22) controls a display device (30) to display a code of the control program (52) on a screen (54), and to display the value of the signal acquired by the acquisition unit (21), on a portion in the code of the control program (52) which corresponds to the signal, in a format that enables distinction of a state of the apparatus (60) of the time the value of the signal is outputted.

In a programmable controller system, a program display device includes: a command name conversion table; a second conversion unit that receives a program list from a programmable controller and converts a command number described in the program list into a command name on the basis of a command name conversion table; a non-corresponding command name acquisition unit that acquires a command name corresponding to a non-corresponding command number among the command numbers described in the program list on the basis of an additional command information table; and a display unit that displays the command name converted by the second conversion unit and the command name acquired by the non-corresponding command name acquisition unit.
