Remote contractor system with site specific energy audit capability
A system that allows a contractor to remotely monitor and/or interact with its customers' building control systems, such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and analyze information obtained from the building control systems over time. Such a system may help the contractor monitor and diagnosis customer building control systems, setup service calls, achieve better customer relations, create more effective marketing opportunities, as well as other functions. In some cases, the disclosed system may include a controller that analyzes data from HVAC systems, determines a thermal model of a space environmentally controlled by an HVAC system, and provides an energy audit of the space that is environmentally controlled by the HVAC system. The controller may output a result of the energy audit to a user.
DIELECTRIC ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS
A Dielectric Energy Storage System (DESS), a Dielectric Energy Storage System Management System (DESS-MS), and method that stores energy for a wide variety of applications.
METHODS OF HEALTH DEGRADATION ESTIMATION AND FAULT ISOLATION FOR SYSTEM HEALTH MONITORING
Methods and systems for fault identification and mitigation in an engine system. A state observer obtains current state information from the engine system, and a feature calculator uses data obtained from the state observer to calculate one or more feature indicators, which are monitored by a health estimator for the occurrence of a change using one or more change probability models. When the health estimator identifies a change, a fault isolator determines a component of the engine system that is subject to fault or health deterioration.
Software and sensor system for controlling range equipment
The present invention relates to systems and methods for accurately and safely directing the movement of shooting range targets, and more specifically, to provide self-calibration and synchronicity to programmable target carriers and automatically resetting targets.
Fan system and monitoring method for fan system
A fan system and a monitoring method are provided. The fan system includes a fan device and a controller. The fan device includes a fan unit, a detector, and a memory. The detector detects an operating state of the fan unit during operation to obtain operating raw data corresponding to the operating state. The memory records the operating raw data and stores a data protocol. The controller provides a monitoring request to allow the memory to provide the operating raw data and a data protocol to the controller, converts the operating raw data into operating state data through the data protocol, and provides an early warning notification signal according to the operating state data. When the operating raw data is provided to the controller, the operating raw data stored in the memory is erased.
Dielectric energy storage systems
A Dielectric Energy Storage System (DESS), a Dielectric Energy Storage System Management System (DESS-MS), and method that stores energy for a wide variety of applications.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A FAULT INDICATOR
A method operates a fault indicator, in particular a fault current indicator, which can detect a fault in an electrical energy transmission line, in particular a fault current in the energy transmission line. In the event of a detected fault, the fault indicator transmits a fault signal to a superordinate control center monitoring the energy transmission line. The fault indicator regularly or irregularly transmits at least one item of local weather information, which relates to the weather in the environment of the fault indicator, to the superordinate control center, directly to a central device other than the control center or indirectly to the other central device via the control center.
CONTROL SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An IO-Link master includes: an IO-Link communication port that communicates with an IO-Link device according to a predetermined communication protocol; a digital input port that receives a first signal value output from the IO-Link device; and a determiner that determines whether abnormality is generated in a digital input line connecting the digital input port to the IO-Link device based on a second signal value received with the IO-Link communication port and the first signal value.
Methods and Apparatuses for Detecting Faults in HVAC Systems Based on Load Level Patterns
Methods and systems are described for detecting a wide variety of fault conditions in a HVAC system based on analysis of current and historical energy consumption patterns, and on comparison with energy consumption patterns of other similarly situated RTUs. Energy consumption comparisons are preferably made in regard to a normalized load ratio or NLR or more preferably to a daily maximum normalized load ratio or MDNLR, which provide more robust and reliable bases for comparison of faulty and fault-free RTUs, and hence for generalized fault detection, than other previously known metrics or criteria.
