CONTROL OF A NETWORK CONNECTED DISPENSING DEVICE VIA A NETWORK
A system may include a client device. The client device may receive, from a set of vending devices and via a network connecting the set of vending devices with the client device, sensor data relating to a status of the set of vending devices. The client device may generate a user interface associated with providing information identifying the status of the set of vending devices. The client device may provide, for display, the user interface based on generating the user interface. The client device may detect, based on providing the user interface, a selection of an adjustment that is to be performed for a particular vending device of the set of vending devices. The client device may transmit, via the network, an instruction to the particular vending device to cause the adjustment to be performed for the particular vending device.
DATA PLATFORM FOR A NETWORK CONNECTED DISPENSING DEVICE
An apparatus may receive data. The data may include first data and second data. The first data may be received from a set of sensor devices located within one or more dispensing devices. The second data may be received from one or more devices located external to the one or more dispensing devices. The apparatus may process the data to generate a model. The apparatus may receive sensor data. The apparatus may determine a response action associated with the particular dispensing device based on the sensor data and the model. The apparatus may provide information associated with causing the response action to be implemented.
Beverage dispensing and monitoring system
A beverage operations control system of an establishment such as a bar communicates with numerous wireless beverage control devices that monitor and control the pouring of beverages. The system provides monitoring and predictive analysis based on the monitoring, including real-time modifications to the operations of the beverage control devices.
AUTOMATED FOOD SELECTION USING HYPERSPECTRAL SENSING
A solution for automated food selection includes: an order processing component operable to receive an order identifying an item; a selection component comprising: a first hyperspectral sensor operable to sense a reflection from the item and produce a sensor output based at least on the reflection; and a picking mechanism; a control component operable to: based at least on identification of the item, select a hyperspectral profile from a set of hyperspectral profiles; compare the sensor output with the selected hyperspectral profile; and based at least on the comparison, determine whether to select the item for fulfillment of the order, wherein the picking mechanism is operable to divert the item to a selection output based at least on a determination to select the item for fulfillment of the order; and a transport component operable to transport the item to an order storage zone.
PRODUCT DELIVERY MECHANISM FOR A VENDING MACHINE
A vending machine includes a housing defining a product storage area and a delivery portal. The vending machine may further include an advancing assembly within the product storage area configured to advance a product. The advancing assembly includes an axle having a coupling, a conveyor belt rotatable about the axle, and a pusher secured to the conveyor belt and configured to push the product as the conveyor belt rotates. The vending machine may include a delivery mechanism configured to convey the product from the product storage area to the delivery portal. The delivery mechanism includes an x-y mechanism and a product retrieval assembly movable by the x-y mechanism. The product retrieval assembly includes a cup configured to receive the product from the advancing assembly, and a drive mechanism configured to engage the coupling of the advancing assembly to drive the conveyor belt to advance the product into the cup.
CONTROLLED DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A controlled dispensing system includes a dispensing fixture and a server system coupled to the dispensing fixture and a mobile device via a communication network. The server system receives from the mobile device identification data of a user of the mobile device and verifies an identity or age of the user. In accordance with the verifying of the identity or age of the user, the server system transmits to the mobile device dispense approval data including an indication that the identity or age of the user is verified. The dispensing fixture obtains via an input peripheral a dispense code provided by the mobile device, the dispense code corresponding to the dispense approval data, and in accordance with the dispense code, causes a dispensing mechanism to dispense the controlled product.
CONTROLLED DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A controlled dispensing system includes a dispensing fixture and a server system coupled to the dispensing fixture via a communication network. The dispensing fixture is configured to obtain via an input peripheral a first identifier associated with a controlled product and a second identifier associated with a dispensing requester; transmit the first and second identifiers to the server system; receive an approval notification from the server system; and instructing the dispensing mechanism to dispense the controlled product. The server system is configured to obtain a limit threshold corresponding to a maximum number of products associated with the first identifier that may be dispensed over a predetermined time period for a dispensing requester associated with the second identifier; and determine whether approving the dispensing operation would violate the limit threshold, and if not, update a dispensing history associated with the second identifier and transmit the approval notification to the dispensing fixture.
DISPENSING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ACCOMMODATING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND METHOD
A dispenser that is configured to switch between a first mode in which the user interacts with external surfaces of the dispenser to make selections and initiate dispensing and a second mode in which the user makes selections and initiates dispensing using gesture controls. In some cases, the gesture control feature could be incorporated into an accessibility panel that can be retrofitted with existing dispensers to add gesture control. In some cases, the dispenser broadcasts an identifier with a wireless beacon that facilitates selection and dispensing of a product.
Self serve beverage by the glass
Automated dispensing of beverages is provided by unattended software control. Grants are purchased or given from the administrative Portal (we call it Pass Manager, see screen shots in the ppt presentation). The redemption is initiated from the web page opened on a phone or tablet. Redemption can also be initiated by applying QR, bar code, RFID or CC cards to a Reader. dispensing tap may be accessed at the dispensing station interface or via a networked application interface. Authenticating the granting of automated access via a receipt includes acceptance of legal terms and conditions and assess limited by an access code. User may prepay for servings, with the tap remaining locked until the user specific access code is acknowledged. After dispensing, the tap is locked and the purchase or grant total updated.
Management system for beverage dispensing
Systems and methods for use with one or more beverage dispensing systems are provide. A system execution program is stored on a memory device. A database stores data records related to a plurality of users of the system and recipe records related to a plurality of beverages. A server includes a processor programmed to execute the system execution program to establish a creation engine and a licensing engine. The creation engine is programmed to allow a mixologist to create and/or edit a beverage recipe and store/update the beverage recipe in the database in one of the recipe records. The dispensing system is configured to dispense a beverage as a function of the beverage recipe. The licensing engine provides a commission to the mixologist in response to the dispensing system dispensing the beverage as a function of the beverage recipe stored in the one of the recipe records.
