In some implementations, a system may receive, from a camera, an image that depicts an object on a conveyor. The system may cause, based on an image processing model indicating that the image depicts the object, a robotic arm to attach to a label printer. The system may determine, using the image processing model, an object position of the object on the conveyor. The system may cause the robotic arm to move the label printer into an application position that corresponds to the object position on the conveyor. The system may cause the label printer to print a label. The system may cause the label printer to apply the label to the object.

A system for controlling a manufacturing process for packaging units is disclosed, the packaging units are manufactured from a packaging material comprising machine readable identifiers. A control unit associates the identifiers with corresponding data images of the packaging units, wherein for a first process application to manipulate packaging material based on a first set of process parameters, the control unit is configured to store at least part of the first set of process parameters to the associated data image, wherein for a subsequent second process application to manipulate said packaging material, read at least part of the first set of process parameters stored in said associated data image to control the second process application based on at least part of the first set of process parameters.

A system (200) for controlling a manufacturing process for packaging units (301′, 302′) is disclosed, the packaging units are manufactured from a packaging material (301, 302) comprising machine readable identifiers (c1, c2). A control unit (210) associates the identifiers with corresponding data images (201, 202) of the packaging units, wherein for a first process application (a1) to manipulate packaging material (301) based on a first set of process parameters (p1), the control unit is configured to store at least part of the first set of process parameters (p1) to the associated data image, wherein for a subsequent second process application (a2) to manipulate said packaging material (301), read at least part of the first set of process parameters (p1) stored in said associated data image (201) to control the second process application (a2) based on at least part of the first set of process parameters (p1).
LABELING MACHINE, PRINTING MACHINE, INSPECTION MACHINE, AND METHOD OF COMMISSIONING A BUS SYSTEM IN SUCH A MACHINE
The invention relates to a labeling machine, a printing machine, an inspection machine, and a method for starting up such a machine. The machine comprises at least two container receptacles, each of which has a rotary plate with a rotary plate direct drive device, and a bus unit for connecting the at least one container receptacle to a bus of a bus system in order to communicate with at least one component of an additional container handling machine or an additional component of the labeling machine and/or printing machine and/or inspection machine. The bus unit has a bus input and a bus output which are configured such that the bus unit is connected into the bus system serially relative to an additional bus unit of the bus system in order to start up the bus system, and the bus unit is configured to activate the bus output when starting up the bus system after the bus unit has received an identification number, which uniquely identifies the bus unit during a communication in the bus system, via the bus input.
