A system for controlling a production plant includes a plant automation unit for monitoring and control of the production process within the production plant. A production planning system has information concerning the products to be produced. A model generator generates at least one prediction model for products produced in the production plant. The model generator takes into account the results of the monitoring of the production plant when generating the at least one prediction model. A production optimizer determines an optimized production process within the production plant on the basis of data from the plant automation unit, the production planning system, and the prediction model generated by the model generator. The production optimizer takes into account the production-related specifications of the individual plant parts. A production plant control unit generates target specifications for the plant automation unit on the basis of the optimized production process determined by the production optimizer.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING AN EFFICIENT HYBRID-MANUFACTURING PROCESS PLAN

Embodiments described herein provide a system for facilitating a process plan for manufacturing an object. During operation, the system can determine a target search space based on a set of constraints. The target search space can include a set of manufacturing actions associated with a manufacturing process of the object. A respective manufacturing action can include an additive or subtractive manufacturing operation corresponding to the addition or removal of a predefined region of the object, respectively. The system can then traverse a set of sequence of actions in the target search space based on a search operation and select a sequence of actions satisfying a target objective as the process plan. A respective sequence of actions can include one or more manufacturing operations capable of producing the object. Subsequently, the system can provide the process plan to a controller configured to manage the manufacturing process of the object.

Integrated planning of production and/or maintenance plans

A production planning system (6) for a raw materials industry plant (ANL), which determines the production planning data (Pi) thereof and specifies said data to the automation system (1) of the plant (ANL). A state monitoring system (7) determines previous and future anticipated states (Z1) of components of the plant (ANL). A quality determination system (8) determines states (Z2) of output products (Ai) produced and still to be produced by the plant (ANL) and/or past and future states (Z3) of the plant (ANL) as a whole. A maintenance planning system (9) and/or the production planning system (6) receive, from the state monitoring system (7), the states (Z1) of the components of the plant (ANL), determined by the state monitoring system (7) and, from the quality determination system (8), the states (Z2 and Z3) of the output products (Ai) and/or of the plant (ANL) as a whole, determined by the quality determination system (8). They consider the data received from the state monitoring system (7) and from the quality determination system (8) in the determination of maintenance planning data (W) and/or the production planning data (Pi).

A work planning device includes a process receiver, a condition receiver, and an order determination unit. The process receiver is configured to receive (i) input of a plurality of work processes at least including attachment and detachment of a work target, and (ii) input of an order condition that is a condition for a relative order of the work processes. The condition receiver is configured to receive input of an attachment condition for each of the work processes. The attachment condition includes a condition for an attachment situation of each workpiece. The order determination unit is configured to determine order of the work processes such that the order of the work processes satisfy the order condition and the attachment situation satisfies the attachment condition.
