LAMINATION PLANNING METHOD FOR LAMINATE MOLDED OBJECT, AND LAMINATE MOLDED OBJECT MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE

A building time for building an additively-manufactured object is calculated on the basis of the inter-pass time and the welding pass time and is compared with a preset upper limit value, and welding conditions in a depositing plan are repeatedly modified until the building time is equal to or less than the upper limit value. Alternatively, corrections are repeatedly performed until the shape difference between a building shape of built-up object shape data relating to the additively-manufactured object created on the basis of the inter-pass time and the inter-pass temperature, and a building shape of three-dimensional shape data, is smaller than a near net value.

A managing apparatus includes a data collecting unit that collects at least quality information on a workpiece having been machined by a first machine tool and operational information on other machine, an analyzing unit that performs an analysis for determining correlation between the quality information on a workpiece having been machined by the first machine tool and a change in the operational information on the other machine, an operation plan making unit that makes an operation plan, based on the correlation determined by the analyzing unit, for imposing a restriction on an operation of the other machine to reduce a change in environmental temperature of the first machine tool during high-precision machining performed by the first machine tool, and an operation instruction providing unit that provides an operation instruction to the other machine based on the operation plan made by the operation plan making unit.

OPTIMIZED THERMAL CONTROL OF DATA CENTER

A method includes measuring a plurality of temperatures corresponding to a plurality of servers located in a data center, determining a subset of the plurality of servers as high-temperature servers based on the plurality of temperatures, and reassigning tasks from at least a portion of the subset of the plurality of servers to one or more other servers of the plurality of servers.

High-altitude protection logic for brewing devices is provided. An actual temperature of a liquid during a heating process is compared to a high-altitude temperature programmed into a controller. If the actual temperature rises to the high-altitude temperature before a default target temperature of the heating process, then one or more time periods may begin to run. If the actual temperature has not changed or the default target temperature has not been reached after a time period elapses, the high-altitude protection logic terminates the heating process. A maximum value of the actual temperature measured during the heating process may replace the programmed default target temperature for subsequent brewings. The new default target temperature may be used to inform and modify a target keep warm temperature for subsequent keep warm mode uses. These stored may be reset to initial program values if the device is disconnected from its power source.
