Methods and arrangements to collect data
Methods and arrangements to collect data related to the state or conditions of a system are described herein. Embodiments may comprise a data identifier to identify data to collect in response to an event and a data collector to collect the identified data. The data collector may comprise firmware, code in ROM, a state machine, and/or other logic, and the data identifier may also comprise firmware, code in ROM, a state machine, and/or other logic that may access information and/or code in a file or other data storage to identify the data to collect. The data storage may comprise information and/or code to identify the location of data to collect and, in some embodiments, the sequence with which to collect the data. For example, such a file may comprise an address or address range within memory of a specific component of the system such as a memory controller.
GENERALIZED CONFIGURABLE TRIGGER
A device for activating trigger data has a serial bus interface and a processing circuit coupled to the serial bus interface. The processing circuit is configured to receive a plurality of trigger data via a serial bus, receive a plurality of activation data via the serial bus, detect an activation scheme for activating a respective trigger data of the plurality of trigger data based on activation data corresponding to the respective trigger data, and activate the respective trigger data according to the detected activation scheme. If activated, each one of the plurality of trigger data respectively enables a corresponding operation to be performed at the device. Each one of the plurality of activation data respectively correspond to each one of the plurality of trigger data.
Production line quality processes
The embodiments described herein relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for improving the product quality of product lots produced on a production line. A quality value for each product lot is determined, and a quality benchmark is established. Each product lot is classified based on the quality benchmark. Product lots that have a quality value meeting the quality benchmark are classified as quality lots, and product lots having a quality value failing to meet the quality benchmark are classified as failing lots. Tools used in the production of the product lots are identified, which includes identifying a set of quality tools and a set of failing tools. Routing of additional product lots is directed by shifting production at least substantially to the set of quality tools.
