Driving control apparatus for actuator
Provided is a driving control apparatus that can control relaxation of force in an actuator. The driving control apparatus is provided with: a driving control unit configured to control driving of the actuator according to a driving control signal; and a pressure control unit configured to control, according to a pressure control signal, involvement of the driving control signal in control of pressure to be generated by the actuator.
Device and method for generating a trigger signal in a position-measuring device and corresponding position-measuring device
A method generates an asynchronous trigger signal in a position-measuring device having a position-sensing unit, a processing unit and an interface unit. The position-measuring device is connectable via the interface unit and a bidirectional data channel to subsequent electronics for communication purposes. A synchronous data stream is generated from an asynchronous data stream arriving at the position-measuring device from a direction of the subsequent electronics by sampling the asynchronous data stream in a time pattern of a clock signal. A gate signal is generated upon an enable condition for outputting the trigger signal being detected by evaluating the synchronous data stream. The asynchronous trigger signal is generated upon the gate signal being present and a signal edge of the asynchronous data stream occurring.
Electro-hydraulic servovalve control with input
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a controller apparatus that includes a digital controller configured to provide a digital position signal based on a setpoint and a differential analog feedback signal, and a converter circuit configured to provide a differential analog electrohydraulic servo valve position control signal based on the digital position signal, and provide the differential analog feedback signal based on the differential analog electrohydraulic servo valve position control signal.
EXPANDING FUNCTIONS OF A PROCESS DEVICE
A board-level assembly that is useful to expand functions of a valve positioner on a valve assembly. The board-level assembly can incorporate a main circuit board and a peripheral “smart” circuit board. The main circuit board may be configured to communicate with the smart circuit board, find a storage memory on the second circuit board, retrieve data from the storage memory, and use the data to configure functions on the first circuit board. In one implementation, the smart circuit board can release and engage the main circuit board. This configuration can allow different configurations of the smart circuit board to swap into the board-level assembly, each of the different configurations providing data the main circuit board can exploit to change the functions of the valve positioner.
Information processing device, information processing method, and non-transitory recording medium
Provided is an information processing device, etc., that provides information which is the basis for quick detection of abnormalities that occur in a device. An information processing device calculates a degree of suitability between observation information and prediction information, the observation information observed for a system suffering an effect from an certain device, the prediction information predicted in accordance with a model for a state of the system; and calculates a difference between manipulation amount to the certain device and predictive manipulation amount predicted for the manipulation amount based on the model, the difference being a difference in case that the degree satisfies a predetermined calculation condition.
Flow rate control device
Provided is a flow rate control device capable of improving accumulated flow rate error. The flow rate control device of the present disclosure includes: a flow rate meter that measures a flow rate of a fluid flowing through a flow path; a flow rate regulating valve that regulates the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the flow path; and a control part that controls an opening degree of the flow rate regulating valve based on a measurement result of the flow rate meter, includes: a closing function that controls the opening degree of the flow rate regulating valve with an instantaneous flow rate value and closes with a set accumulated flow rate value; and an accumulated value prediction function that monitors the current opening degree of the flow rate regulating valve and the instantaneous flow rate value all the time, and starts a closing operation of the flow rate regulating valve at a time point when the accumulated flow rate value reaches an early closing flow rate value.
STEP-BASED SYSTEMS WITH MULTIPLE ACTUATORS
In a production line where various operations have to be performed on a unit that is conveyed through or assembled in the line, a control system for a set of actuators is provided that operates in discrete steps to carry out movement in a machine and is required to synchronize at points in speed and position. A controller is provided for each actuator, and a coordinator configured to determine or receive the position of the actuators and to receive or generate data concerning a waypoint, being positions and corresponding speeds for the actuators. The controllers are configured to change the speed of the actuators, and the coordinator starts the movement of at least one actuator on the basis of a point reached by another actuator, so as to achieve the desired synchronization.
SUSPICIOUS CONTROL VALVE PERFORMANCE DETECTION
Techniques for detecting suspicious performance of a throttling control valve (also referred to herein as a “valve”) in a process plant are described herein. For each of N time periods, a computing device determines and analyzes process parameter values for process parameters related to a valve to determine a status of the valve for the time period. The computing device compares the valve statuses over the N time periods to determine whether the valve is operating well for at least a threshold portion of at least a subset of the N time periods. In response to determining that the valve is not operating well for at least the threshold portion of at least the subset of the N time periods, the computing device determines that the valve is suspected of performing poorly, and provides an indication of the suspect valve to a user interface for display to a user.
