(2) interiorly insertable into the smoking article (60) received in the receptacle (4) and operably connected to the reservoir (62); means (3) for moving the treatment material (9) from the reservoir (62) through the needle (2) into the interior of the smoking article (60); and at least one sensor means (15) provided in the receptacle (4) for detecting at least one parameter characterizing a property of the smoking article (60) and/or characterizing the treatment conditions in the receptacle (4). A method for applying a treatment to a smoking article (60), wherein the smoking article (60) is enclosed by a receptacle (4), and a treatment material (8,9) is inserted into the receptacle (4) and directly into the interior of the smoking article (60) as a function of parameters measured by sensor means (1), said parameters being indicative of at least one of the temperature and the humidity in the receptacle (4) and the smoking article (60).
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MICRO-CLIMATE MANAGEMENT
State of the art systems used for monitoring of land (for example, agricultural land), fail to accurately assess various conditions in the land area and make predictions. The disclosure herein generally relates to agricultural systems, and, more particularly, to a method and system for micro-climate management in a land area being monitored. The system groups the different plots based on sensor trend information and based on a determined homogeneity information. A micro-climate view of the land area is accordingly generated, which in turn is used to generate micro-climate predictions.
Apparatus for the Computer Assisted Setup of a Machine Tool Table
An apparatus to assist a machinist in the setup of a remote computer controlled machine tool table has an X-axis electronic gauge block assembly, a Y-axis electronic gauge block assembly, and a Z-axis electronic gauge block assembly each positioned on the machine tool table, to respectively collect X-axis probe position values, Y-axis probe position values, and Z-axis probe position values. Environmental sensors collect environmental values. An electronics processing system establishes a raw X-axis probe position, a raw Y-axis probe position, and a raw Z-axis probe position. A wireless interface transmits the environmental values, the raw X-axis probe position value, the raw Y-axis probe position value, and the raw Z-axis probe position value to the remote computer and receives from the remote computer refined probe position values to assist the machinist in the setup of the machine tool table.
PRODUCTION SYSTEM THAT SETS DETERMINATION VALUE OF VARIABLE RELATING TO ABNORMALITY OF PRODUCT
A production system includes a cell control apparatus that is connected to a machine control apparatus and an inspection control apparatus. The cell control apparatus includes a storage part that stores data on a state of the manufacturing machine, data on an environment state, and data on an inspection result of a product. The cell control apparatus includes a correlation analysis part that selects a variable relating to an abnormality based on a correlation between the inspection result of the product, and the data on the state of the manufacturing machine and the data on the environment state when the abnormality occurs in the inspection result, and a determination value setting part that sets a determination value of the variable relating to the abnormality.
Enhanced cargo transportation system
A vehicle includes a body, a removable cab, a cargo movement subsystem, and a computing device. The removable cab is attachable to the body. The computing device includes a processor and a memory. The computing device is programmed to actuate at least one vehicle subsystem to move the vehicle to deliver cargo stored in the cab and the cargo movement subsystem move the cargo. The cargo movement subsystem is arranged to move the cargo from the cab to a position accessible from an exterior of the vehicle.
Transport climate control remote management
A method of remotely managing a transport climate control system (TCCS) includes a remote management device receiving performance data from the TCCS. The performance data based on one or more detected operating parameters of the climate control circuit. The method also including the remote management device providing the performance data to one or more user devices. A remote management system includes a remote management device configured to receive performance data for a climate control circuit from a climate controller of a TCCS and to provide the performance data to one or more user devices. A TCCS includes a controller configured to: generate performance data based on the one or more detected operating parameters of a climate control circuit, and transmit the performance data to a remote monitoring device. The climate controller also configured to receive an operating instruction from the remote monitoring device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SERVICE LIFE MANAGEMENT BASED ON HUMIDITY CONTROL
A computing device of an information handling system includes a computing component associated with a risk of corrosion and a corrosion management component. The corrosion management components releases humidity into an environment associated with the computing component while the risk of corrosion due to the environment is a low risk of corrosion, and absorbs humidity from the environment associated with the computing component while the risk of corrosion due to the environment is a high risk of corrosion.
