MANUFACTURING SYSTEM WITH AN INTERCONNECTED STORAGE STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING CELLS SHARING A COMMON ROBOTIC FLEET
A manufacturing system including an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) structure with a three-dimensional array of storage locations distributed throughout a two-dimensional footprint of the ASRS structure at multiple storage levels; workpieces stored within the storage locations of the ASRS structure; robotic storage retrieval vehicles (RSRVs) navigable within the ASRS structure in three dimensions to access the storage locations, and multiple manufacturing cells positioned outside the ASRS structure, is provided. The manufacturing system includes a track structure attached to the ASRS structure and defining one or more travel paths traversable by the RSRVs from the ASRS structure. The same fleet of RSRVs that is navigable within the ASRS structure is operable to deliver the workpieces to the manufacturing cells. One or more of the manufacturing cells are positioned along the track structure, thereby receiving convenient access to the workpieces along with associated tool pieces and workpiece supports for manufacturing goods.
Systems and methods for identifying and processing a variety of objects
A robotic system is disclosed that include an articulated arm and a first perception system for inspecting an object, as well as a plurality of additional perception systems, each of which is arranged to be directed toward a common area in which an object may be positioned by the robotic arm such that a plurality of views within the common area may be obtained by the plurality of additional perception systems.
Substrate processing apparatus and controller
There is provided a configuration at least including a screen control part configured to display on a display part a maintenance component management screen displaying a component, a mechanism, or both, as a maintenance component, a collection part configured to collect component data related to the maintenance component, a determination part configured to compare a cumulative value of the component data with a predetermined threshold value to determine the cumulative value exceeding the threshold value, a calculation part configured to calculate a replacement time, and an operation part configured to calculate replacement times based on an average value of the component data and a cumulative value of the component data for each predetermined cycle, display the maintenance component sequentially from the maintenance component reaching the earliest replacement time, and display the maintenance component on the display part in a state where the component data is updated for the predetermined cycle.
Configurable service isolation zones for service of equipment employing mobile robots
A safety system is disclosed for failsafe servicing of areas within an order fulfillment facility. During normal operation, a number of battery-powered robots receive wireless instructions from a management control system (MCS) to transfer items to/from workstations or storage shelves in a multi-level storage structure. The order fulfillment facility may be divided into dynamically configurable service zones. When service is required in a service zone, different safety protocols may be employed based on a determination as to the priority level of service required and/or the estimated length of time service will take. One safety protocol involves physically blocking all access points to a service area with mechanical guards, so that order fulfillment operations may be proceed around the service zone while service is performed.
DEVICE ASSEMBLING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS
A device assembling system includes a management apparatus, a material apparatus, and an execution apparatus. The management apparatus is communicatively connected to the material apparatus and the execution apparatus, and the material apparatus and the execution apparatus are installed into an overall structure. The management apparatus is configured to obtain a maintenance task of a maintenance device. The maintenance task includes an operation type and an operation object. The management apparatus parses the maintenance task into a first control instruction and a second control instruction. The material apparatus receives the first control instruction, and searches for a to-be-assembled part according to the first control instruction, that is, the material apparatus may determine a position of the to-be-assembled part. The execution apparatus receives the second control instruction, and obtains the to-be-assembled part and assembles the to-be-assembled part to a device according to the second control instruction.
TRANSPORTING PARCELS ON TRANSPORTATION LINES
In one embodiment, a system is provided. The system includes a set of pallets to hold a set of parcels. The system also includes a conveyor system to move the set of pallets to and from a transportation pod. The system further includes a lift system to lift the set of pallets to different heights within the transportation pod. The system further includes a storage system to store a set of parcels. The system further includes a mechanical arm to move the set of parcels from the storage system to the set of pallets.
Tape library apparatus and information management method
A tape library apparatus includes a tape drive, a robot unit, and a second processor. The tape drive includes a first access mechanism and a first processor. The first access mechanism is configured to read position information from a non-contact type memory within a tape cartridge. The position information indicates a position of data recorded in a magnetic tape within the tape cartridge. The first processor is configured to perform positioning for the data. The robot unit includes a robot arm and a second access mechanism configured to access the non-contact type memory. The robot arm is configured to store the tape cartridge in the robot unit, and move the tape cartridge to the tape drive. The second processor is configured to control the second access mechanism to read the position information from the non-contact type memory, and store the position information in a non-volatile memory.
Maintenance Recommendation System and Maintenance Recommendation Method
The present invention provides maintenance recommendation system and method that improve the accuracy of estimating a failure mode of equipment and thereby reduce frequency of replacement operations, shorten a time of examination, and decrease a recovery time of equipment from a failure. A maintenance recommendation system of the present invention identifies a failure mode of a machine and comprises an information input element to input one or more inspection results required to identify a failure mode, a temporary storage unit to store the inspection results, a failure mode probability calculating unit to estimate probabilities of failure modes from results of inspection performed one or more times, and an estimation-accuracy determining unit to calculate uncertainty of the probabilities of the failure modes. The system presents inspection items based on the uncertainty of the probabilities of the failure modes.
