System and method for cleaning surfaces through drones
This disclosure relates to system and method for cleaning surfaces using drones. The method includes identifying, by a first drone, a cleaning strip in contact with a surface. The cleaning strip connects a second drone and a third drone. The second drone is communicatively coupled with the third drone. The first drone is communicatively coupled with each of the second drone and the third drone. The method further includes releasing a cleaning agent at a preconfigured pressure upon a current target region of the surface near the cleaning strip. The method further includes relocating the cleaning strip upon the current target region. The method further includes performing a set of oscillations through the cleaning strip across the current target region. Each of the set of oscillations includes coordinating a displacement of the cleaning strip by a predefined distance, alternating towards each of ends of the cleaning strip.
Robotic systems and methods to treat vertical external surface of structure
A frame body may be parallel to and proximate with an external surface of a structure and extend substantially horizontally from a first side to a second side. A connecting portion may be provided to be attached to a cable to provide for vertical movement of the frame body. A robotic arm may be affixed proximate to a bottom of the frame body and be able to move horizontally during treatment of the external surface. Moreover, the robotic arm may extend to an end proximate with the external surface, and a cleaning portion may be attached to the robotic arm near the end proximate with the external surface. The robotic arm may rotate, vertically moving the cleaning portion during treatment of the external surface. In addition, the cleaning portion may be separately rotated to remain substantially parallel to and proximate with the external surface during rotation of the robotic arm.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR USE IN CLEANING A FACADE
Disclosed is a method for controlling cleaning at least a portion of a building facade (104a). A multi-dimensional map of a facade (104a) is cleaned from an elevator platform (200) of an elevator system is received. According to the map, an ordered sequence of instructions is determined. The instructions comprise robotic arm instructions and elevator platform instructions that are temporally intertwined to execute a cleaning pattern covering at least part of facade (104a). The robotic arm instructions are forwarded to control one or more robotic arms (206) and the elevator platform instructions are forwarded to control the elevation of the elevator platform (200). A corresponding device (221, 213) and non-transient memory (223), and a system having the device, are also disclosed.
