MACHINING DEVICE, MACHINING METHOD AND CUTTING TOOL
A machining device threads a workpiece by relatively rotating the workpiece and a multi-blade tool and relatively moving them along a feed direction to perform cutting processes in the radial direction of the workpiece along the same cutting path in a predetermined spiral form. A controller performs a groove machining to form a threaded portion with vibration in the radial direction of the workpiece and a finish machining to form the threaded portion by bringing the multi-blade tool into contact with the grooved portion of the workpiece. The multi-blade tool has a first cutting blade and a second cutting blade arranged side by side along the feed direction. The controller sets amplitude of a vibration waveform to a value at which a cutting edge of the second cutting blade does not come into contact with the screw bottom surface of the workpiece in the finish machining.

METHOD FOR MACHINING RIBS ON AIR OR GAS BEARINGS OF A COMPRESSOR
A method for machining ribs or grooves on a workpiece such as a shaft or an air or gas axial bearing intended to be rotated about a longitudinal axis of a centrifugal compressor. All of the ribs or grooves are obtained at once by the machining tool on a workpiece portion driven such that it rotates, by moving the workpiece or the tool holder in a longitudinal machining direction, the machining tool moving back and forth with a machining position in contact with the workpiece and a position wherein it is not in contact with the workpiece from the start to the end of the workpiece portion. The back-and-forth movements of the machining tool are synchronised with the sinusoidal program set up in the machining unit, as well as with the desired, programmed arrangement of the ribs or grooves to be produced on the workpiece portion.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL

A control device 10 for a machine tool machines a workpiece W including at least one tooth surface and comprises: a machining condition input unit 15 which can input a machining condition including at least one of specifications of the workpiece W, specifications of a tool T, a feed speed, the rotational speed of a spindle, and the number of teeth; a surface pattern calculation unit 16, which calculates, on the basis of the machining condition, a surface pattern defined on the basis of intervals of scratches occurring on a machined surface; a swing command generation unit 17, which generates, on the basis of the surface pattern, a swing command for achieving a surface pattern including a portion in which the intervals of the scratches are unequal; and a position and speed control unit 14 which carries out the machining while swinging the workpiece W and the tool T relatively to each other on the basis of the swing command generated by the swing command generation unit 17.
NUMERICAL CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING TAPPING ON BASIS OF PROCESSING PROGRAM
A command analysis unit in a numerical controller analyzes a fixed cycle command in a processing program and outputs the analysis result to a fixed cycle calculation unit. The unit generates a command data sequence including a plurality of command data based on the analysis result. The unit includes a surplus calculation unit calculating a surplus cutting depth based on an overall cutting depth and a cutting depth in each cut, the respective cutting depths being specified by the fixed cycle command and being applied to a workpiece by a tapping tool, and a command data sequence adjustment unit that adjusting the order or the cutting depth of the command data in the command data sequence based on the surplus cutting depth to reduce a total feed movement amount by which the tapping tool moves in accordance with the command data sequence.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF GEARS
A method for producing gears, includes the following: machining of gears with a gear tool in a single-indexing method, wherein the gear tool produces tooth gaps on each of the gears by machining. A pitch compensation with compensation parameters is predefined for the gears; wherein the compensation parameters are predefined by a machine control as a function of a wear condition of the gear tool.
