Robotic tool changer alignment modules
Alignment modules attached to a robotic tool changer assist spatial orientation and alignment of a robot arm relative to a robotic tool for location training. A three-axis spatial orientation sensor is first attached to an alignment module affixed to a tool unit. The sensor is “zeroed,” or calibrated to the spatial orientation of the tool unit. The sensor is transferred to a corresponding surface of an alignment module affixed to a master unit. The orientation of the robot arm is adjusted to eliminate sensor error signals indicating deviations from the zeroed orientation of the tool unit. An optical signal, such as a cross line laser beam, is then projected between the alignment modules. The x- and y-axis position of the robot arm is adjusted to align the optical signal with alignment markings. When the master and tool units are aligned, the robot arm is advanced in the z-axis direction until the master unit abuts the tool unit.
MACHINE TOOL, PROCESSING SYSTEM AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A machine tool according to the present invention includes: a turret capable of holding a plurality of tools; a spindle that selectively holds one of the plurality of tools held by the turret; a control unit that controls the operation of the turret and the spindle in accordance with a control parameter; a weight acquisition unit that, every time one tool is attached to the turret, acquires a weight of the attached one tool; and a weight setting unit that sets the weight acquired by the weight acquisition unit or an index associated with said weight in the control unit in association with the attached one tool, wherein the control unit sets the control parameter on the basis of the weights of the individual tools, which are set by the weight setting unit.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes a movable structure 3, a numerical control unit 22, an external input unit 39 having a dedicated operation key for inputting an operation signal associated with at least a movement end point to which the movable structure 3 is moved, a display unit 39 displaying an image, a display control unit 25 controlling the display on the display unit 39, an input control unit 24 processing a signal input from the external input unit 39, and a movement path setting unit 32 receiving the operation signal input from the external input unit 39 and setting a movement path for moving the movable structure 3 corresponding to the operation signal to the movement end point according to a predetermined setting condition. The display control unit 25 displays an image relating to the movement path set by the movement path setting unit 32 on the display unit 39.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, MACHINE TOOL, AND DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM
A display control device includes: a display control unit that controls display of a setup screen including a menu display part displaying, in a selectable manner, a plurality of measurements including tool measurement and workpiece measurement and a detail display part displaying an operation screen for each of the measurements. An operation screen associated with each measurement is a screen that displays a plurality of visible images each representing a measurement operation and receives selection of a measurement operation that is selected by selecting one of the visible images. While the setup screen is displayed, the display control unit maintains display of a plurality of measurements on the menu display part and switches display on the detail display part in response to an operation input by an operator.
