There is proposed a method for examining the clamping state of a tool holder or tool which is clamped in a tool clamping device of a rotor unit of a motor-driven machine tool unit, with the spacing of the sensor head from a component of the rotor unit being measured, with a recording of at least one time and/or position-related sequence of the spacing values measured with the sensor head, wherein for improved integration of the method the recording of a first and a second time and/or position-related sequence is carried out during an acceleration of the rotation of the rotor unit with respect to the stator unit, in particular when the rotor unit is started up, wherein the time and/or position-related information of the sequence vectors of the first and/or second sequence is scaled using the respective associated current speed (v.sub.0).

The invention relates to a monitoring arrangement (12) for monitoring the clamping quality of a workpiece carrier clamped in a clamping device (3, 40, 49) as well as a clamping system with clamping device (3, 40, 49) and such a monitoring arrangement (12). The monitoring arrangement comprises at least two sensors (A1-A4) for the independent detection of the clamping quality of a clamped workpiece carrier or workpiece. The monitoring arrangement also comprises a transmitting device (14) and a receiving device (21), wherein the transmitting device (14) is constituted such that it transmits the determined or calculated parameter or parameters redundantly to the receiving device (21).
METHOD FOR EXAMINING THE CLAMPING STATE DURING ACCELERATION PHASE

Method for monitoring a bar blade chucking and/or a blade slot of a bar blade cutter head for bevel gear production, having the following method steps: providing a main body (26) of a bar blade cutter head (4), wherein the main body (26) comprises blade slots (30) for accommodating bar blades (10), and wherein a component (10), such as a bar blade (10), a test specimen, or the like, is chucked in a detachable and replaceable manner in at least one blade slot (30) of the main body (26) of the bar blade cutter head (4); exciting oscillations of the component (10); measuring the displacement and/or velocity and/or acceleration of the component (10); analyzing the measurement.
