20230052163 · 2023-02-16 ·

There is described a system and method for managing control performance of a field device receiving variable data. Variable and setpoint references corresponding to a control loop of the field device are identified. A time delay normal period based on expected oscillations of the variable reference and first settling thresholds associated with the setpoint reference are also identified. An offnormal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to one or more second settling thresholds associated with the setpoint reference. A normal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to the first settling thresholds. A settling time of the control performance is determined based on the normal timestamp, the offnormal timestamp, and the time delay normal period. One or more performance features of the field device are modified based on the determined settling time.

There is described a system and method for managing control performance of a field device receiving variable data. Variable and setpoint references corresponding to a control loop of the field device are identified. A time delay normal period based on expected oscillations of the variable reference and settling limits associated with the setpoint reference are also identified. An offnormal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to one or more second pre-settling limits associated with the setpoint reference. A normal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to the settling limits. A settling time of the control performance is determined based on the normal timestamp, the offnormal timestamp, and the time delay normal period. One or more performance features of the field device are modified based on the determined settling time.

DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM, DIAGNOSIS METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

A diagnosis system diagnoses presence or absence of an abnormality from data pieces collected in a factory. The diagnosis system includes (i) a diagnoser that diagnoses presence or absence of an abnormality by classifying, in accordance with a diagnosis model defining a plurality of groups, the collected data pieces into at least one of the plurality of groups, (ii) an extractor that extracts, from the collected data pieces, a candidate for a data piece to belong to a new group different from the plurality of groups, (iii) a reception device that provides candidate information relating to the candidate extracted by the extractor, (iv) and a learner that learns a new model including the new group. The diagnoser diagnoses presence or absence of an abnormality with the new model after the new model is learned.

CONTACTOR AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

The present disclosure relates to a contactor and an operation method thereof. The contactor includes a contact, a control device, a wear indication and reset device, and a memory. The control device generates and stores wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is disconnected; generates a switch control signal based on the wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is powered on. A switch unit in the wear indication and reset device enters a wear indication state based on the switch control signal, and receives a user's operation to enter a reset state. The control device receives switch state information of the switch unit, and stores it when the contactor is disconnected. When the contactor is powered on, the control device clears the wear diagnosis alarm information based on the received switch state information being the reset state and the switch state information stored being the wear indication state.

A first valve of a manifold for a fluid distribution system may regulate a fluid flow to a first fluid handling device (“FHD”). A second valve of the manifold may communicate with a second FHD, a reservoir, or a recirculation line. A target flow condition for the manifold may be determined by a manifold control system (“MCS”) based on a device setting received for the first FHD. The MCS may determine a fluid distribution system operation for obtaining the target flow condition based on the target flow condition, a flowrate of the fluid flow, and an operational state of a supply device. The operation may include the MCS controlling at least one of the supply device, the first valve, and the second valve to change the flowrate. The MCS may continuously operate at least one manifold valve to maintain the target flow condition once exhibited by the manifold.
