Sound source estimation system and sound source estimation method
A sound source estimation system includes a microphone that detects sound which is generated from an object including a rotary device, a rotation speed acquiring unit that acquires a rotation speed of the rotary device, a frequency analyzing unit that generates frequency sound data indicating change of a frequency spectrum of sound detected by the microphone, a degree calculating unit that calculates a degree based on a loudest sound frequency indicating loudest sound out of frequencies of the sound and the rotation speed, and a degree comparing unit that determines a component with a degree closest to the degree as a sound source candidate of the noise.
PARALLEL TRANSFORMER TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT AND FAULT DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DDC ENCLOSURES
A system, for measurement of temperatures and detection of faults of parallel transformers in a DDC enclosure, that includes a first transformer and a second transformer arranged in a parallel configuration that deliver power to components of a building management system (BMS). The system also includes a direct digital control (DDC) circuit that controls power delivered through the first and the second transformers to the components of the building management system (BMS). The system further includes a first temperature sensor, operationally connected to the DDC circuit, which measures the temperature of the first transformer. Furthermore, the system includes a second temperature sensor, operationally connected to the DDC circuit, which measures the temperature of the second transformer. The DDC circuit determines a difference between the first temperature and the second temperature to predict a fault in the first transformer or the second transformer.
Method for investigating a functional behavior of a component of a technical installation, computer program, and computer-readable storage medium
An improved method for investigating a functional behavior of a component of a technical installation includes comparing a signal of the component to be investigated and representing the functional behavior of the component with a reference signal which describes an average functional behavior of identical components. During the comparison, a comparison variable describing the deviation of the signal from the reference signal is determined. In addition, a probability of the occurrence of the comparison variable is determined by using a predefinable distribution of a multiplicity of such comparative variables. A computer program and a computer readable storage medium are also provided.
Processing system for dynamic event verification and sensor selection
Aspects of the disclosure relate to computing platforms that utilize improved techniques for dynamic event verification. A computing platform may receive first source data comprising driving data associated with a vehicle over a time period. Based on the first source data, the computing device may determine that the vehicle experienced an event, resulting in an event output. In response to determining the event output, the computing device may generate a request for second source data associated with the vehicle over the time period. The computing device may receive, from a sensor device, the second source data. Based on a comparison of the first source data to the second source data, the computing platform may determine an event comparison output. The computing platform may determine that the event comparison output exceeds a predetermined comparison threshold, and may send an indication of an event in response.
Methods, Systems and Computer Program Products for Measuring, Verifying and Controlling the Energy Efficiency of Residential and Light Commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Systems
Methods for assessing the overall energy efficiency of a building are provided including receiving data related to the plurality of HVAC systems from at one or more of the plurality of MRACs. The data related to the plurality of HVAC systems is associated with physical, structural and thermal properties (“properties”) of the building. The data related to the plurality of HVAC systems is organized by defining categories of relevant data related to the plurality of HVAC systems. The categories of relevant data are defined by one or more properties and/or operational characteristics of the building. The defined categories of relevant data are associated with a corresponding one or more of the plurality of MRACs. Each MRAC receives data that satisfy data in the defined categories associated therewith. A hierarchy is created among the plurality of MRACs such that each increasing level of the hierarchy provides a more detailed assessment of the overall level of energy efficiency for buildings in the defined category of relevant data.
Automatic abnormal trend detection of real time drilling data for hazard avoidance
An abnormal trend detection system for detecting one or more hazards may provide for a safe and effective drilling operation as any of the one or more hazards may be avoided. Several indicators may be defined including a first, second, third and fourth indicator. The indicators are used to identify in a trend analysis abnormal trends. One or more thresholds may be defined. When a trend analysis indicates that a threshold has been reached or exceeded an alarm may be triggered, a drilling operation may be altered or a combination thereof.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING FLIGHT DATA
A method for processing flight data having been recorded during three or more flights of an aircraft by a flight data recorder including obtaining two signature vectors with respective sizes, the two signature vectors corresponding to two different flights among the three or more flights, determining a similarity matrix, the components of which quantify the proximity between the two flight signature vectors, each component allowing identifying, for each element of a first signature, an element of the other signature which is closest, the proximity between two components of the signature vectors being a distance weighted by a mean value of the neighboring components of the similarity matrix, repeating the obtaining and determining in order to compare, two by two, all the flight signatures so as to obtain three or more similarity matrices, and processing said similarity matrices in order to evaluate the similarity between two flights.
PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR SMART VEHICLE
A processor may receive an input dataset. The input dataset may be associated with a plurality of vehicle components and one or more performance factors of the recreational vehicle. A processor may generate a digital twin of the recreational vehicle using the input dataset. A processor may simulate, using the digital twin, an impact of one or more conditions on the recreational vehicle. The simulating may include a prediction having one or more predicted conditions associated with the recreational vehicle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING CANDIDATE VEHICLE SYSTEMS
A system is provided that includes a controller having one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to obtain first vehicle system data from a first vehicle system of plural vehicle systems based on a common characteristic shared by the plural vehicle systems, and obtain second vehicle system data from a second vehicle system of the plural vehicle systems, the second vehicle system data based on the common characteristic shared by the two or more vehicle systems. The one or more processors may also be configured to compare the first vehicle system data to the second vehicle system data, and identify one of the first vehicle system or the second vehicle system as a candidate vehicle system for maintenance based on comparing the first vehicle system data to the second vehicle system data.
